Cryorig QF140 Performance - 140mm, PWM, 600-1850U/min

I replaced my be quiet! Dark Rock 3 140mm circular fan with this fan and the improvement is incredible. Despite this being a performance fan, the noise isn't noticeably higher because the fan simply moves way more air than the be quiet! fan without needing to be at such a high RPM all the time. My be quiet! fan was regularly at 1800-2200 RPM just to keep up with 45-50C idle temps from my 8700K at 4.5GHz. But the QF140 Performance keeps the CPU at 30-35C idle or around 40C during light (browser) use, and that's at 1050 RPM or so (45% of the fan's capability). HALF of that of the be quiet! fan.I'm astonished at the difference. Most of my case fans are going to be replaced with these. I've already got the QF120 Performance exhausting out the back, but I'm going to put two QF140 Performance in the front and my Phanteks 140's up top for a full white fan blade/black shroud look. And they look amazing with my lighting scheme.Also, the price is great for PWM fans. Phanteks 3-pin fans are only $2 less expensive than these and they don't move nearly as much air.To get the QF140 Performance to fit my Dark Rock 3, I had to wedge it a bit between my RAM and the heatsink, but it's not putting any pressure on the RAM or the slot after having removed the handy removable rubber bumpers from the fan. I also had to order some 1.2mm high carbon spring wire and make my own fan mounts, but bending the fan mounts that came extra with the heatsink for a 120mm fan worked as well.These are simply better engineered fans over most of what I've used before, and I've been through quite a many other major brands.The only cons so far are that the cables are extremely short and the shroud material doesn't feel quite as sturdy as some other brands. But the cable is an easy fix with some extensions, or simply solder on some longer ones to the board.

I’ve used Cryorig fans since upgrading to an H7 cooler years ago (not picured here) and they are fantastic both in looks and performance. The QF 140 Performance fans really hold their pressure and promote good airflow, so when it came time to replace one I knew I’d stick with them instead of searching for an alternative.I find them very quiet and, as they’re a 4-pin PWM design, adjusting fan curves is possible. There is no RGB or anything like that, so look at something else if you want that kind of thing. However, as you can hopefully see from my picture, the white fan blades pick up light from other RGB components and shine nicely.For those who are interested, these have lasted three years and none of them have broken. I decided to rearrange the fan array in my case to alter the pressure and keep out more dust, so I bought another 140 in place of a 120.What else can I say? It just works :D

These are ridiculously powerful. I purchased two to add to the set that came with my Cryorig A80. At higher speeds, when channeled through a radiator, the air is strongly ejected to a ridiculous distance of 5 feet or so on my system. I've never seen anything like it.These are quite loud at high speeds when facing out, but work well and quietly at lower speeds. They have a large RPM range so it's pretty easy to set them the way you want. The noise is very dependent on positioning. When mounted behind a radiator in push configuration as exhaust, they are quiet even at maximum speed. I would not recommend using them as a case fan unless running them at low speeds.My only complaints are that the rubber feet fall out too easily, which is pretty annoying, and the frame feels a bit flimsy. The build quality isn't nearly as nice as my Phanteks 140mm fans, which are solid as a rock.

I normally only use Corsair products, but I needed a fan that provided at least 115 CFM to level out my case air pressure. I found this product that was cheaper than the 140mm Corsair and it provides 128 CFM whilst running at full speed. When I received the fan I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality, while it was not on par with higher end fans from Corsair, it still seemed really solid. Their packaging was great, then they offer a great warranty with the product(and a pretty cool warranty card too). After switching to an AIO CPU cooler I decided to continue using this fan by simply replacing one of the provided corsair fans. As someone with hearing issues I cant really comment on the loudness, my wife says its not very loud....

Ordered two one arrived defective with crackling noise..... disappointing.Edit: got a full refund for the crappy fan.

I'm not sure how well these fans work. They do not have standard 140mm mounting holes, I could not get them to fit into the holes on my case. I sent these back and ordered some Noctua fans They fit perfectly. I wanted to try out this brand but they have disappointed me. It's not hard to put the holes in the proper alignment. I have never seen this with a fan before, even the cheapest of fans.They could be rigged to work in certain cases I am sure, but why bother when the Noctua Redux fans are about the same price and have the standard 140mm mounting holes.

These move a lot of air, but they will need extensions in almost all builds. The cables are ridiculously short. Very annoying...
