Pretty, unusual, practical
This umbrella is virtually impossible to lose because of its unusual colour scheme. No matter where you put it down, it catches your eye when you get up. It's a good brolly for most normal rainy conditions, sturdy and gets lots of compliments. Very happy with it.Edit: Just came back to add my obituary for this lovely brolly. Storm Dennis (February 2020) in Glasgow was finally the death of my precious after 7 years of loyal service. Struggling up the side of the Necropolis a particularly vicious gust was finally too much, and with one gallant shudder, she gave up the struggle and flipped inside out. I feel terrible: I should never have subjected her to those conditions. What was I thinking? But she had done so well in bad weather up to that point. Well, as before, this umbrella is heartily recommended, but don't take her out in a storm when she's seven years old and has seen a lot of action.

Pretty
Bought this for myself for Christmas, so husband will wrap it up and make me wait until Christmas Day, so I have not tried it out. Looks very sturdy and solid. Very pretty design and seems robust. Colours are bright but subtle, if you know what I mean! Had an older wooden brolly which lasted years, hope this does the same.On a different note, the packaging was abysmal. Just a grey plastic bag loosely wound around the brolly. The wooden tip and black plastic sheath were broken so I had to return. Replaced quickly, but still inconvenient. The second one was poorly wrapped as well, so it was a matter of luck.

Nearly - but not quite - what I hoped
The design (William Morris) and colour of the umbrella are fine but I worry that it will not be sufficiently strong to resist a violent and unpredictable gust of wind without turning inside out. The open and close mechanism is a little 'Heath Robinson' and not up to traditional British engineering standards. How it will cope with our wild Welsh weather remains to be seen! Consequently, I bought a more sturdy 'Collar &Cuffs London' brolly with wind vents just in case . . .

Good umbrella
Good product , well made and a great gift. Would have given five stars but the packaging let it down as it was simply wrapped in a plastic bag and posted ,on receiving found the handle top surface to be damaged, the damage is cosmetic and does not effect the function of the umbrella so decided not to go to the hassle of returning

Beautiful umbrella
I bought this as a gift and will be proud to give it, but would also like to keep it for myself! I wouldn't normally get excited by an umbrella but must say that it's really beautiful and very good quality. The wooden handle feels nice to hold and William Morris print is lovely and makes a nice change from the usual dark umbrellas on a grey wet day. It was well packaged and I really can't fault it.

Great quality and design
I wanted a good umbrella with an original design. This one didn't disappoint. Well worth the price. Amazing quality and attention to detail when it comes to the finishing touches. The pattern is bold but the colours aren't too bright. I should also mention that it was well package and arrived without a scratch unlike another umbrella ordered from different site

The only umbrella to buy!
What absolutely top quality, really impressed. Not had a Fulton umbrella before but will certainly keep with them now. The finish is excellent, the action very controlled, the design is most attractive and it appears to be very robust. What more can you ask of an umbrella?
