Good Value
I know there are a lot of bad reviews on this product, mainly stating it is a re-badged 500 watt no name supply. I disagree. We use it to power a Dual Xeon X5150 server with 6 300 GB Ultra320 SCSI Hard Drives, and when I check the power levels, even with a multi-meter, they are fine. Just to run the processors, a 500 watt supply is a minimum, and then 6 SCSI hard drives... This is a performer. Granted, a blue light is not really a requirement for a server, but it looks nice in its modified full tower case, and there's a button to turn it off.Hybrid simply means the motherboard power cord is NOT modular. There are plenty of extra cables for SATA and 6 and 8 pin video card connectors. The EPS12V connector is a 4+4, and worked fine for our needs. If you need a second EPS12V connector, simply buy it separate and connect it to a molex connector like we did. The main 20+4 connector was plenty long enough to reach from a bottom mount PSU to the top of a EEB (basically an E-ATX) motherboard and had enough slack to feel safe.I will be buying a few more, as we recently got awarded a contract and need to build 17 more servers.

Great power supply
I installed this power supply last night in my new build. I had slight reservations because Raidmax hasn't always had the best reputation about quality, but these days this power supply has solid reviews and it's a real good price, so I gave it a shot. Can't complain about anything so far. Everything was included that should be there, power's working fine, fan works, blue LED works, everything seems good at the moment. I haven't yet done anything intense on the computer yet, that'll be tonight. But I'm not anticipating any problems.Bragging about my new system:Ryzen 3800xASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4OLOy 16gb 3200 MHZ RAMSilicon Power 1TB 3400 Read/3000 Write M.2 2280 NVMeAsus OC Dual-Evo RTX 2080 SUPERRaidmax Hybrid 2 RX 730WDeepcool Gamerstorm Baronkase (Which came with a Deepcool Captain 120mm AIO installed)

Decent, affordable, works
It works, was packed well, most affordable option I have found in the 700+ range w/"modular" cabling. They are not what you think of as modular...there is the permanent Mobo connectors (20+4 and a 4+4) but the other cables dont plug into the chassis like a modular supply normally does. There is a second cabling bundle permanently attached approximately 3 inches long coming out of the back, with sockets attached for the cables. Think of plugging into extension cords, instead of wall socket... It works just fine, and looks just fine, but wasnt what i was expecting. The cable connectors actually seem more secure than on my Ultra (true) modular supply so it isnt necessarily a bad thing. I have not checked the voltage measurements on each output so I cannot comment on the accuracy. The nylon mesh braiding on the cables looks ok, not as nice as coated reflective cabling but it looks about the same as the other brands that use the same style. The PCIE cables have 2 connectors per cable, so if you have a single plug card you will have an extra dongle but if your card requires 2 plugs, you only need a single cable, that was nice. Running a Biostar A870u3 (I think thats the model) board, AMD X2 b555 cpu unlocked to 4 core and OC'd from 3.2 to 3.7, 16G G.Skills Ripjaws 1600 DDR3, and an XFX 2gb 6870 video card. WD 1TB HDD w/64mb buffer. Never hiccups. I would recommend this based on price vs modular options, but urge potential buyers to realize what the cabling system actually consists of. I think it looks fine in my clear side case, but others might be more picky. I, however, am happy.

Raidmax Hybrid 2 RX-730SS 730W PC Power Supply
ok so this Raidmax company deserve a review. i bought a Raidmax power supply 530W almost 10 years ago (2014), up until now it still work perfectly. Recently i decided new mother board, new CPU, and i also wanted a new power supply. After a thoroughly research just to found out that a new power supply now a day is over $100, i decided to give Raidmax another chance and bought the Raidmax Hybrid 730W. There is no regret. Beside the main power, everything else are modular. it works the way it supposed to be, fan runs with no noise. Dont know how much power have left, but i have one hard drive, one DVD drive, 3 RGB fans, and an old video card. enought said, being un-brand name does not mean that they are not good.

Chirp
It works well, it's powering my build with three hard drives and a geforce gtx 680. So far this PSU has been through two computer cases and two video cards. If your case installs PSUs at the bottom, it will defeat the purpose of the blue LED. The PCI-E express connector is adequate, as it has two 6-pin connectors with an option to make them 8-pins.What's annoying is the noise the fan makes. My build has 8 fans. 3 intake fans, 2 on the video card, one on the CPU, one on the exhaust fan, and the fan on this PSU. The PSU fan is the most noticeable because it has this steady chirp to it. It's not a loud chirp, and it's easy to tune it out, but it's there nonetheless.

Bad investment
Should not buy this product, if for any reason the customer service alone. The power supply that I got worked fine for about a month or two before it started shorting out sporadically and would often shut down my computer mid-use. When I attempted to contact the seller of the product through an email, hoping I had gotten a defective model which they would replace, I received no help or even any indication of notice. The product itself may work fine as far as I can tell, but tread lightly for this seller is not customer friendly and buying this is a huge gamble. You will not get your money back if it stops working.
