Make sure you know your phone connector.
Sometimes I have to record phone calls. This product works great for that.Ensure you research the type of phone you are using, some connectors are different than others depending on country and technology.I’m in the US using Cisco type phones.

Good and simple
This is a simple way to connect a voice recorder to a telephone line. Just plug it in and it works!

Unusable
This adapter introduces a TON of noise into the recording; you can barely here the voices of the people talking because of how much hum there is. And this is despite the fact that the conversation sound crystal clear through the phone itself.Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to hook it up until after the return window had closed. I have tried this with multiple phones and recording devices, so I know that the issue is with the adapter.If you are planning on recording phone conversations, look for something else.

IT DIDN'T WORK FOR MY PURPOSE
I needed a telephone call recording adapter that would allow me to use my hands free head phone.. and this did not.. so it didn't work as I needed it to work.
