Tranesca Leather Replacement earpad/Ear Cushion/Ear Cover for ATH M50X, SteelSeries Arctis, HyperX Cloud & Alpha Big OVEREAR Headphones (Fits a Great Variety of Headphones) - Black

I ordered these to replace the ear pads on the Ausdom M06 after trying a different product from another vendor that was supposed to be a brand specific replacement and was not. These ear pads checked all 4 boxes I needed: fit securely on the headphones, cup entirely over my ear, be comfortable enough to wear for at least a couple of hours at once, and be made from a vegan-approved material. Size: Based on other reviews, I knew these ear pads were quite large. Some reviews here included outer and inner size dimensions which were essential to my decision to buy these. (thank you other reviewers!) However, I was not expecting the ear pads to have different thicknesses on either side of the ear pad. I took many photos to help show how one side of an ear pad is much thicker than the other, almost a 3/8 inch difference! My photos also show a side-by-side with the original Ausdom M06 ear pads they replace, both on and off of the headphones, as well as how they headphones fit with the new ear pads (photos showing both sides of the headphones). The size of these ear pads is no joke! My wife thinks they look ridiculous but I don't care so long as they work well. Comfort 5/5: I wore theses for several hours before writing this review, including on the head indoors for music and tv listening, outside placed over a beanie hat while listening to music, and on the head for a Zoom call. Despite the massive thickness they are not uncomfortable to wear. I don't get much added pressure from due to the headband compression. They fit entirely over my ear, which I wanted, and this has the side effect that my ears will get warm after a while. As the weather gets hotter (it's winter now), my ears will definitely sweat. Build quality (5/5: Theses seem just as well good as most replacement ear pads I've seen. All stitching was done well and no signs of manufacturing issues (unless that thickness difference is not supposed to be there). I'm not sure how well these will hold up after extended use, but I assume they will last a couple years depending on use like most PU leather products, or less if exposed to sweat regularly (exercise, etc.). Installation (4/5): They do not install the same as my original ear pads. The originals pulled out of a small trim ring on the headphone. These fit over that trim ring. The ear pad fabric has a slight stretchiness to it, and I was concerned that too much pressure would tear the fabric. Thankfully, it did not tear and I was able to tuck most of it into the trim ring area so the back of the ear pad is not exposed. -1 point hear for the difficulty with fitment. A universal ear pad should have a bit more elasticity on the back of the ear pad. Noise cancellation (3/5): One reason I wanted the ear pads to fit entirely over my ears is to improve the headphone sound experience. Perhaps it is because these are so large or the difference side thickness, but there is a small gap between the ear pads and my head on the narrow side of the ear pads. It is not much, but it does allow in more outside sound, and air noise when the wind blows. The Ausdom M06 are not ANC headphones and I'm not expecting these ear pads to provide much ANC features. The deductions here are because they do let in more sound and air noise than my original ear pads; not enough to be disruptive, but enough to notice. Overall, I'm pleased with these ear pads and do recommend them to anyone who won't mind have giant looking headphones.

Like many others, I find the cost of the official earpad replacements for the Sennheiser HD 280's to be way overpriced. Especially since they are not even that great of quality and wear out quickly if used a lot. However, most of the generic replacements (that are inexpensive) are uncomfortable and/or don't last long at all. Though I'd pretty much given up on any cheaper options, I saw that these had some good reviews and looked like they could possibly work okay, so I went ahead and ordered a pair. When I got them, I could tell they were thicker and softer and would likely allow more space between the plastic base of the headphone and the ear, which is great since having the plastic pushing against your ear is quite uncomfortable. I started the installation process, which is usually a frustrating nightmare, and was very pleasantly surprised; they were a breeze to install. I didn't have to fight to get them on, and I had it done in a couple minutes. NOTE: I noticed another reviewer on here claiming they don't install the same way as the stock replacement pads (advising people to pull the outside mounting ring of the pad all around the whole headphone base) and that is completely incorrect. The installation process is exactly the same as the stock, or any other generic pad. You tuck the outside mounting ring of the pad into the small gap around the earphone, which holds the pad in place. Works like a charm and is massively easier than the stock pads. Once that was done, I put them on and was once again very pleased. They are ridiculously comfortable. I plugged them in and worked on mixing some music for awhile and it was a pleasure. When you work on music in headphones for long periods of time, comfort is very important. I like the way these pads feel much better than the stock pads. I might be imagining things, but it seemed like the sound quality was better. This could be because the pads seem to isolate sound better, or because there is slightly more space between the driver and my ear. Or it could just be that I really like how they feel and that makes me enjoy using them more. Whatever the case, I highly recommend these pads for Sennheiser HD 280's. Particularly if you're working in music production, or any case where you have them on for many hours at a time. Easy install, super comfortable, great quality. To top it off, super reasonable price!

First of all, I'm removing a star for false advertising: these are definitely NOT leather, and I resent sellers who think so little of us that they'll lead with a lie. Earpads are by far the most cost-effective upgrade for headphones, so I'm always on the lookout for earpads that are cheaper and/or better than the Brainwavz pads that dominate this niche market. I've tried the following pads: Brainwavz pleather, Brainwavz velour, Brainwavz angled hybrid, Bluecell, and ZMF Oval sheepskin (the Mercedes of earpads, but only compatible with big headphones). After a long and expensive journey of trying out different headphones, I settled on the NAD - VISO HP50 (Black) , which are notoriously uncomfortable. The stock pads on those are unusable for the large-eared gentleman, so I swapped in the Brainwavz Sheepskin Leather Memory Foam Earpad - Suitable For Large Over The Ear Headphones - AKG, HifiMan, ATH, Philips, Fostex . While the leather feels nice, the memory foam Brainwavz uses is too soft and compressible. For headphones with significant clamping force like the HP50, the comfort lasts perhaps 15 minutes before the foam completely flattens out and the hard driver housings start pressing against my temples. After about two hours, the pain is so intense I have to take the headphones off for at least an hour. Given this, I knew I needed angled pads (so I could have the thickest possible pad over my temples) and I knew they had to be made of a springier foam (so they wouldn't compress and let the plastic driver housings squeeze my skull). I found these by sheer chance and the price was low enough to be intriguing. I'm happy to report that these are WAY more comfortable than the much more expensive Brainwavz they replaced. Your mileage will vary, of course, but for my use case these are almost perfect. My only wish would be for them to use even firmer foam for better long-session comfort. Time will tell how well these hold up, but for now I'm suitably impressed to buy these instead of Brainwavz for all future compatible headphones. As for the comments about the mismatched seams, it's obvious to me that Tranesca has done something very clever to get the price down on these and undercut the more established players: they're only making left-side pads and selling them as a pair: as other reviewers have indicated, you rotate one of the pads to make it into a right-side pad. This lowers manufacturing complexity and cost in at the expense of a slight aesthetic oddity. Pros: Comfortable, easy to install, fit my headphone unit, looks nice Cons: Non really Ear phone model: Sades Model: SA-902 Review: These are a comfortable replacement for the stock pads which had deteriorated over years of use and were leaving black fake leather all over my head and face when I'd use them. The replacement process was as easy as it can be (you will have to stretch the new pads over the lip and down into the grove, which isn't "easy" but this would be a universal difficulty) and took less than 10 minutes. Do not assume these are noise canceling. That's not on their product description and it's not a thing that they're built for. If that's a feature you require, look elsewhere. Environmental sounds are audible with these pads. This is not a detriment in my opinion. The pads fit over the ear and are thicker on one side than the other. I put the thick end towards the front of the headset because I wanted the slight wedge to prevent the unit from slipping forward while using them. The thickness of these pads was thicker than the stock on my unit, but it makes for a nice feel and is easy to wear for hours on end. I would recommend these to a friend as a great replacement product, even if your stock pads aren't trash. The seller is also very friendly and offers great customer service, even if I didn't need to take advantage of it. I would buy this product again and from this seller (though I hope to not need to for years). Packaging was a small box in a padded envelope. Removing from the packaging was a breeze, if you care about such things.

Very solid replacement earpads for the price. These are pretty close to the Brainwavz HM5, but are a little stiffer than those. I use these on a Steelseries Arctis 3 because those earpads are so soft my ears hit the drivers and I wanted to grab a replacement. Also of note, these earpads are slightly offset a small bit, but it did not hurt the passive sound isolation. These will definitely work on Steelseries Arctis, Cloud I and II's, and also the Cloud Alpha's. I tried these on all on my headsets. I ended up keeping them on my Arctis 3 and after a few weeks they have become softer. The only negative is that they are stiffer than I expected, but for the price it is acceptable. I will update my review on how these wear over the coming months. Update 08/15/2020: First pair is still in use and are now on my HyperX Alpha's. I bought a second pair for my Steelseries Arctis One wireless and bingo! These work really well for my ear shape and seal very well. I would recommend this for any of the Arctis headsets. These will also improve the flat bass with a little less sound leakage and more bass, especially if you EQ the wireless One or the Seven. I will be reviewing these with Arctis 7 next week. TLDR: Great for HyperX and Arctis, over-sized and comfy, over-ear earpads at a low price! Your mileage may vary, but these go over my ears and seal very well!

I was in the market to change out the terrible stock pads on the Audio Technica BPHS-1 broadcast headsets. I have three pairs for streaming so I decided to buy the three cheapest pad options to see if any would do the trick. Since these are not for an audiophile application, my main focus was going to be comfort seeing as they would be worn for long stretches. The three sets are here below with a review of each to be posted on each product's page. 1. Senitek Replacement Ear Pads For Headphones By Senitek Protein Leather Earphone Covers - Memory Foam For Unmatched Comfort & Noise Blocking $7.99 (My overall score is 4.5 stars) Comfort - 4 stars - The foam in these headphones was the most comfortable of the three. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it says they are leather. Only the outer ring is leather. The part that touched your ear is velour. The main issue with velour is that they get hot much quicker. If these weren't only $8 I would have sent them back but it's not worth the time. If they made an all leather version with the perforated leather they use on these cups, I'd purchase them for all of my sets. Fit - 4.5 stars - best fitting on the cups of all the pairs. Snug on the cups with little movement once installed. Look - 5 stars - Best looking by far. I love the look of the perforated leather. None of the pictures they have posted show what these pads actually look like. 2. LyxPro Replacement Ear Pads for LyxPro HAS-30 $7.99 (My overall score is 4 stars) Comfort - 4 stars - Not quite as cushiony as the Senitek, but slightly larger. Better for bigger ears. All leather as advertised and felt cool as they sat on my head. Would definitely grab these first for a longer streaming session. Fit - 4 stars - They fit nicely on the headset, but a little loose due to the larger size. They tend to not stay in place as much but it's not all that noticeable. Look - 3.5 stars - Nothing special. Much better than the stock cups but I can't imagine anything worse. 3. Tranesca leather replacement earpad/ear cushion/ear cover for big OVEREAR Headphones $12.95 (currently viewing) (my overall score is 3.5 stars) Comfort - 3.5 stars - I had high hopes for these. The company certainly has put a great deal of thought into their presentation of the product, and also to their commitment to quality. Unfortunately they just don't feel like a natural fit. This is not because they are angled. I have other pairs of angled pads that are fantastic. They are a just a tad too small. They will probably fot most ears, but even my average sized ears feel a bit cramped after a short time. I would constantly notice the fit while I have them on and that is precisely what I don't want. They do feel like the highest quality build of the three though so the extra cost is justified in this instance in my opinion. Fit - 2.5 stars - After installing the cups I noticed an annoying pucker on the sides of the pads where they slide into the guides on the headset. The other two sets positioned nicely in the cups so it was quite noticeable. Look - 4 stars - These look very nice on the headset. Nothing really to catch they eye, but they definitely exude a quality to them on first glance. All three pairs are a good value for the money. My winner here is the Senitek overall. If the velour scares you off then I recommend the LyxPro secondarily. My favorite for audiophile applications are still the Brainwavz or ZMF (for monster cans), but all three of these are going to be better pads than most lower priced headphones will come stock with. I will be searching out some other low priced pairs and adding to the review as they come along.

When I ordered these replacement earpads for my Audio-Technica ATH-ANC70 headphones, I had little hope of actually getting them mounted properly. I was pleasantly surprised. First I should mention that the pads arrived in a well thought out cardboard package that keeps the pads from being squashed on the shelf or in transit. The box itself immediately indicates this product is thoughtfully designed. The pads themselves look very nice. They're a bit thicker than the original pads but otherwise look fairly close to being an OEM product. The leatherette material has a good feel to it and seems pretty durable. Mounting the pads was a somewhat laborious effort, I'm not gonna lie. If I had a complaint about the product it's that it offered zero instructions in how to mount the new pads. However, this omission may be a necessary thing because the earpads are meant to be used with many different brands and models. It would be difficult for the vendor to provide detailed instructions for every single model of headphone that they fit onto. A quick YouTube search turns up a few instruction videos, which made it look much easier than it was for me. Specifically, the video indicates you can just remove the old headphones and carefully fit the new ones on in the same manner -- e.g., slide the new pads' flange into the groove. That was simply not possible without doing some extra steps. Specifically, there's an oval ring that snaps onto the headphone body and holds the flange in place, and I had to remove this ring, soak it in solvent to soften the adhesive that was still on there from the original pads, and then I had to rip off a foam gasket that separated the ring from the headphone body. Otherwise there's absolutely no way the new pads' flange would fit onto the headphones. The old adhesive gummed everything up and the foam gasket made things so tight the groove was practically nonexistent. However the foam gasket ripped off easily, and although the solvent started to work on the plastic ring, I was able to remove the adhesive without seriously damaging the ring. (Be careful or the plastic ring will dissolve too.) After doing all that and snapping the rings back into place, I was able with some determined fiddly effort to get the new pads onto the old headphones. I suspect that removing the foam gasket will affect their noise canceling properties to some degree, but so far I'm happy with the results. The headphones are now fully functional and no longer are coming apart and leaving flecks of black crap all over my neck and shirt. Audio-Technica really ought to use more durable materials in their headphone pads. It's pretty sad that the pads self-destructed for no reason after a few years spent almost entirely in their storage case. So low stars for A-T but full stars for Tranesca!

I appreciate reviews that do not feed me a line and get to the point. TLDR (at the beginning): buy these now before they go up in price. For the comfort they provide and the price they ask, you are getting a superior product. I. Love. These. Earpads. I have over a dozen in-ear headphones, five on-ear headphones, and six over-ear headphones (yes, I have a problem). As my bartender once said as I was chasing down the elusive Thomas Handy rye bourbon: “You are chasing the dragon, good sir.” My dudes/ladies, I want awesome sounding music at a decent price. FLAC is my go-to and I need headphones and a good DAC to chase the elusive dragon of sound euphoria. With the format down, I need a set of cans that do not blow the budget (I own Bose and love them, but dude, that brand is stupid expensive and only worth the Black Friday and refurbished deals that rear their ugly heads during sales) and still provide reliable sound. I have developed a certain audiophile obsession over the last few years because I am getting older and YouTube 128kbps videos just are not doing it for me lately. As such, unfortunately, searching for “the best sound” at the best price means I have to chase down components to Frankenstein my sound options. Behold: the Tranesca earpads are making budget cans that have no business sounding as good as they do (I am looking at you Tascam TH-02 and Monoprice 8323—look up the reviews if you have not checked them out) more comfortable. Look, none of us really want to pay $100+ for headphones that sound awesome with our music collection. As such, we buy cheap headphones in hope that they reach Bose/Sonos levels of sound. Budget headphones, especially the good ones, cut the costs in the earpads; the silent agreement is that your music will sound amazing but your ears are likely to hurt in an hour or two. Some of us are okay with this. Others, like me, are not. This is America. We want the cheapest product at the best price. As I mentioned before, I own 20+ headphones and I prefer over-the-ear for sound isolation but it’s hard to find comfortable cans (especially if your eyes are not cooperative and you have to wear glasses to see anything—yay me!). I have replaced both the Tascam and Monoprice headsets with the Tranesca replacement earpads and they are infinitely more comfortable. I would love to pretend that I am blowing smoke up the proverbial backside, but these things are just comfy. I also own an expensive set of the Brainwaz Sheepskin Earpads (https://www.amazon.com/Brainwavz-Sheepskin-Leather-Memory-Earpad/dp/B01J53KM32) and I prefer the Tranesca, which are a third of the price. I have owned the Tranesca for three months (I will come back here and edit if longevity is a problem) and they are my go-to for replacement pads. They are thick, comfy, and go around my big ears to provide passive noise cancellation. I bought another pair to put on my gaming headphones because they are that awesome. If you are rolling with Amazon Prime, do yourself a favor and at least check these out. Best case scenario: you hate yourself for not making your budget headphones feel awesome. Worst case scenario: you decide the earpads don’t help your jams and you return them (with no consequence!) to chase the music dragon more. 10/10 would buy again.

Zunächst: Die Bestellung kam 3 Wochen früher als angekündigt, was sehr erfreulich ist. Diese Ohrpolster haben zwar andere Maße als die Original Polster von Panasonic, aber sie passen! Man muss nur den Überkopfbügel etwas größer einstellen. Die Polster sind sehr weich und dämmen deutlich besser Geräusche von außen ab als die Originalpolster. Sternabzug gibt es für den veränderten Klang. Da die Polster doppelt so dick sind, bieten sie zwar mehr Platz für Segelohren, aber verdoppeln auch den Abstand der Treiber zu Ohr. Dadurch ergeben sich meines Erachtens Veränderungen in Räumlichkeit und Bandbreite. Wenn ich die neuen Polster mit den Händen näher an die Ohren drücke, um den alten Abstand wieder herzustellen, erhalte ich wie zu erwarten kräftigere Tiefen und die Räumlichkeit ist weniger geweitet. Ich beschreibe das so vorsichtig, weil ich mich wohl daran gewöhnen muss, mangels Alternativen. Falls also jemand einen besseren Ersatz kennt, gerne bei mir melden!

Great comfort and the added isolation to the sound from my pair of 40X is worth the price

I’ll try this analogy... If the original pads that ship with the ATH-M50x are my flat af white guy behind then these are Kim Kardashians behind. As for fitting- They went on easy enough for me. Isolation is about the same to me.. I’m probably not the best to ask about that side of it as I don’t use my 50x’s that often, I usually use IEMs. Are they comfortable... yes, very. I can wear these much longer now. Quality? It’s hard to say right now as I’ve only used them for maybe 10hrs total. Stitching is a bit wonky, but no loose threads on mine. They do have an angle in them that is prominent (as seen in the pics) but it works, I get why they’ve done this. I don’t believe they are leather but I’m no leather expert. If you don’t want to spend $40+ these will do fine but if you’re a heavy user then I’d suggest pads from a reputable brand that cost a bit more as I don’t think these will last longer than a year with heavy use..... I could be wrong though.

They claimed to fit my hyperx's and that was a lie, one they are bigger then the original by a sizable margin, and the inside bit where they slip into the headset was like a solid 1 and half cm bigger so it wouldnt fit and i was forced to trim it to try to get it to fit better but now im stuck with earphones that slip off when i take my headset off, so im gonna have to diy it and use double sided tape or something :(. if your in my position just buy it from hyperx atleast then it will fit and you wont have problems.

Comfortable enough (though a bit too bulky for some headphones) but that's about all the praise I can give this product. Meanwhile, the build quality is poor (stitching is already wearing out after only half a year), and the pads are not conducive to a good listening experience.
