Can you wield the might of the BLADE?
I'm 89 years old, and have recently been playing tennis with my chaps at the home in an effort to stay active and ward off the reaper for a bit longer. The racquets that they provide us here are quite worn out- circa 1978, and several of the grips feel as if Mrs. Prichart carelessly used them too soon after oiling herself up (not that oiling up will help her to appear any less leathery at 96). I decided that it would be worth a small investment in my personal development as a player if I upgraded equipment and obtained a new racquet for my own use. After enlisting the help of one of the home attendants to navigate the internet and peruse the many available choices that the bounties of capitalism provide us as Americans, I finally settled on the Wilson Blade. To say that the resulting effect on my tennis game has been substantial would be the understatement of the century. The racquet arrived in the post 2 days after ordering it- what a time to be alive. I set out the same day to play a casual match with my long-time friend Bob Wiegart from Hartford. The speed and accuracy this thing brings to a player is downright dangerous. It was maybe a point or two into the third game of the set, when I lined up a volley and crushed a tennis ball straight through Bob's right Bicep. Nearly took off his arm. The bone was exposed and there was blood and muscle tissue everywhere. Bob fainted from shock while we waited for the paramedics to arrive, and therefore forfeited the match. I wrote this off as a fluke- perhaps Bob has some kind of underlying health condition that causes his biceps to be prone to implosion- he is 93 years old after all.The second match I played was roughly a week later. My Cousin Walter was up visiting from Tampa for the weekend, and we have always been quite the competitors. We only played 3 or four points before the power of this racquet unveiled itself once more. I returned his serve straight down the sideline and blasted the tennis ball into (and through) his mid-section. I could see straight through the entry-wound, and am fairly certain that the ball took about a third of his liver with it when it exited. Chester collapsed on the spot, and was unable to finish the game. Thankfully, he survived the ordeal, and now has to moderate his Brandy consumption while enjoying the weather down in Florida. The last and final time I played was two weeks ago. My great granddaughter came to visit and we needed an activity that would allow us to social distance, yet still get some quality time together. She is extremely bright, and suggested that a rousing game of Tennis would be a great way spend the day. She was an avid player at her high school, and had recently been awarded a full-ride college scholarship to a prestigious university for track and field. Our whole family is overjoyed for her. I was a good sport, knowing that she would run circles around me, but it's all about spending what little time I have left with family these days. We played nearly an entire set before the racquet's extreme power made its appearance. I hit a first serve squarely in the sweet spot of the frame, and the result was nothing less than that of a cannon ball traveling high-speed, hitting my granddaughter directly below her right knee, taking the lower half of her leg clean off. We were both completely taken off-guard and she hopped around on one leg for almost 2 minutes before the reality of the situation seeped in.The power of this racquet is not for the faint of heart, and certainly has the potential to cause some unintended damage if not used properly. That being said- I have technically been undefeated since acquiring it, and am considering inviting my ex-wife's new husband over for a friendly match next week.

Accurate and awesome 😎
Wow! This racket is amazing!I also own the Wilson Ultra Team racket which is overall great but with the blade I feel I’m much more accurate. I highly recommend this racket!

solid racquet for it's price range
Wanted to try out a racquet that was slightly heavier than the one I have (old Head Ti S4). This one fits the bill. Can hit some aggressive shots that stay in. The racquet came prestrung with Wilson NXT, a fairly well-rated multifilament string, and a more premium string than what is on my Head TiS4.

Love my Wilson Blade Racquet!
I bought several racquets recently to swap between in order to find the best fit for me and I’ve wanted a Wilson Blade racquet because a lot of my tennis buddies love their Blade racquets. I was nervous because I got this racquet for a really great price. I‘ve found it has the best weight and size for me. I love it! I strongly recommend the Wilson Blade racquet. I prefer not to rent racquets since it takes me more than 24-48 hours to determine if a racquet is a good fit for me.

Nice balance of power and control
This is a very good racket. Instantly my server was better. It’s strong pretty tired but has a lot of control. I would buy this again.

Great racquet but Amazon weight is wrong
Great racquet. The amazon weight and balance are way off. The racquet I got is 9.9 oz and 6 pts head light. FYI!

Raqueta comoda, ligera.
