Works well and good product support
Our laptops were unable to pick up our 5ghz Wi-Fi signal and would rarely go above 30 when conducting internet speed test. The installation of this adapter was easy and within minutes both laptops were texting from 100 to 110 using Ookla speed test.Update: After a few months of use, the connector shell came off when I removed the adapter from my laptop. I was able to remove the metal sheath from my laptop but could not reassemble the modem. I contacted the support team and was immediately shipped a replacement. Very nice to be up and running again. A+++ for good support.

It works
I had a little problem with the software. The icon on the lower right of the task bar (windows10) tells me I am not connected. I could not figure out how to get wireless set up using the software. I had to activate the wireless adapter through network and sharing center under network adapters. Even after I was connected via wireless to my router, the software icon still showed as not connected. I can get wireless internet accesses using this device even though it's software says other wise.

Great little device
The mini is just what I needed. 5GHz connection is solid, great signal strength, great speeds. 2.4GHz connection is weaker than my normal (internal) laptop adapter, but with such a small device, not unexpectedly so. My laptop's internal (Intel) wifi adapter suffers from firmware issues and drops the connection daily, requiring manually disconnect/reconnect to restore networking. This adapter has no such issues and has solved my WiFi issues for good.

Excellent WiFi USB
Excellent little wifi usb. Worked right out of the box. Fast connection and speeds. I like the fact this its very compact and doesnt take up huge space. I would highly recommend this product due to price and quality.

Using the included software the device installed easily and connected to my home network right away
My initial review of this Wifi adapter was quite negative due to serious connection intermittency, which I later discovered was thanks to some driver incompatibilities between this (a Realtek NIC) and the onboard Realtek NIC. If you use this product, make sure any LAN drivers are up-to-date!One additional word of advice: you can download a driver for this device independently of the driver that's shipped with the unit, but be sure to install the full-functionality utility. I tried installing a slimmer driver on a second PC I used for testing and I wasn't able to detect or connect to the 5GHz network band.

5 G speed was outstanding, but it only lasted 5 months.
I got this because I do quite a bit of trading. The speeds were reaching my max speeds over 5 G which was excellent. After just over 5 months it starting going on and off over a couple of days, finally it stopped completely. Good customer service because when I contacted a refund was prompt. Will try another brand to see if I can get more longevity.

Good inexpensive wireless adapter
Does what its supposed to do. No software issues, good connection rates, easy to use. Works like a real wireless card, unlike the netgear it replaced

Sucks on my OSX machine
Hi, I recently purchased this adapter to use on my OSX10.7.5 machine.I downloaded the drivers and installed the one for 10.7 but am having lists of issues. It works for a while then disconnects itself. The only way to get it to work again is to unplug the adapter then plug it back in again. It sucks... I emailed tech support and am hoping they have a solve for me.I'm also looking for a different adapter to replace this one.
