Great Blackout Shades
I'm happy with the product. Just have a couple of issues:1) It was tricky affixing the shade mounts on the window frame so that the shades would end up being in the right place.2) Unless I very carefully and deliberately roll up the shades, they are prone to rolling up unevenly so the edge of the shade on one side gets crunched. They also have to coaxed to roll up all the way instead of just pulling slightly so it'll roll up all the way by itself.That said, these are great blackout shades. Very effective and nice looking.

Great product, but consider mounting outside the window frame
Good product, but not so great for inside window frame mounting. Ordered one, to see how well they would fit. Inside mount leaves large gap on one side, so I will measure for an outside mount for the rest of my windows. Otherwise, I really like this product. Really easy to mount. After having a bad experience with "tear" to size roller shades, these are much better (at twice the price). I'll be buying six more of these, so I guess that's about as good a review as one could give.

Quality look, feel and construction, very nice!
Great product, quality feel. Was looking for a higher quality product than the usual (cheap-ish) spring rollup blinds. Needed one that mostly blacked out room, and would fit BEHIND my somewhat sheer roll-up adjustable shades, that hang OUTSIDE the window structure. These are very good! Quality product, easy to mount (2 spring loaded clips with 1 screw each, can fairly easily remove blinds due to spring loaded feature of mount). They have adjustable spring for rollup speed, and they roll up at a CONTROLLED rate with just one tug of the string...very lux, like an automatic slow closing cabinet drawer. I wish they came in shorter lengths...but looks like I can shorten the shade by disassembling the end piece, cutting to proper length, and reassemble. Upscale for the price.

These shades are great. We now have them on 5 windows. so easy to install, clean look, you can adjust how fast and how far they retract, and if they made them large enough we would put them in our living room
