Tropix!

Tropix is so much fun...and I'm over sixty!
I came across this game when browsing through all the Nintendo DS games. It sounded like it would be fun, so I took a chance and ordered it. I could NOT put it down! There are several games to play which are also fun, but the Jungle Jump with the adorable monkey took first place while stealing my heart! It's easy, yet takes a little while to buy all the islands. I didn't notice at first, that the monkey plays with the things you buy it and also you can touch the plants and trees you buy on each island and they do something. Very cute! By the way, the order was received on the exact day that Amazon said it would be delivered, as well as other purchases that I've ordered since then. I am very pleased with Amazon in all ways. I am a grandma...overy sixty... and I guess a kid at heart, as I love playing the Nintendo games. I have had the DS Lite for a few years, but have started having a little trouble seeing the screen so decided to purchase the larger one and am not sorry I did. On a more positive note reguarding the DS Lite...I can read the 100 Classic Books without a bit of trouble, and that pleasantly surprised me. I keep both the Lite and the new one with the larger screen close by at all times! I believe it's called the DS XL. Well..it's time to settle down and do some Jungle Jumping. I love Tropix!!!!!! Hope you will too!

This is my kind of monkey business
I had never heard of this game before, but it was recommended to me by Amazon and after checking out the reviews, I decided to purchase it. This game is well worth the money. Even though I have "beat" the game (unlocked all games and bought all islands), I love the fact that you can still continue to play the mini games,at whatever level you choose. The concept of the game is that you earn sand dollars based on your play in the mini games. I enjoy the fact that you don't have to play every mini game in order to earn sand dollars, so if a mini game is not enjoyable to you, you don't have to play it. The sand dollars are used to purchase islands, which unlock new games, and for each island you buy, you use your money to outfit it for the very cute monkey inhabitant, who will interact with the items you buy for him. There is a wide variation in the games and I feel there is something for everyone.

Keep your little monkey happy...
I'm a big fan of "puzzle" games, and unfortunately am frequentlydisappointed, but this one was a pleasant surprise. You start off withjust a few of the eleven games available, and have to unlock the rest, all the while earning enough to keep a cute monkey happy with food, toysand creature comforts. The monkey is surprisingly engaging, and it isamusing to watch him interact with what you have provided. The games aresimple, but a few of them are quite addictive. I especially enjoy theword game, the bowling and the solitaire. There is also a fruit matchinggame which gets quite frenetic, a somewhat lame version of Mahjong, a smooth playing version of Sudoku, a charming shell game, and four othersthat feature stronger arcade elements (not my cup of tea, so I don't playthem as much). Overall, a nice varied title that is a good one to keephandy for frequent short sessions of casual play.

Horribly addictive
My kids got DSi's for Christmas this is one of the games we got to go with them, I play the cascade version while I walk on the treadmill every day, (I think cascade is like bejeweled maybe I've never played it but I think this is similar)My only complaint would be there are only 5 or 6 games to play on it, lots and lots of levels with a great variety of skill level, but I thought it would have more games.UPDATE: We managed to unlock more games, my mistake there weren't more games, I would still like a better variety of games but this is still a great game and I highly recommend it.

Love Love Love it!
This game was recommended to me by Amazon and boy am I glad. I absolutely LOVE this game. I play it practically every day. It has so many different games to play so you don't get bored. Atleast I don't. My grandkids had to get me to the end of Jungle Jump but they had a ball doing it. I still can't bowl too good but I have fun trying. I don't think you would be disappointed in this game. I still have several games that I haven't reached the end of yet, and probably without my grandkids help, won't. I have made it to the end of the cascade game but still play it just about daily. There were several levels on it that were terribly hard for me to master so I go back now that I have mastered them just to see if I can do it quicker. I have to say this is my favorite game for the ds so far.

Cute, Addictive Game
In this game you have the choice of several games to play to earn sea dollars to buy the monkey islands and items of food, comfort, and play for the various islands. I think the monkey and his crab friend are very cute. Most of the games are fun to play. The background music is happy and enjoyable. My 8-year-old daughter also likes playing this game.

Tropix is GREAT !
Tropix is a wonderful game. It is interesting as well as entertaining. I find it is not to hard of a game for early ages to play. The landscapes that you can set up for each island are different from each other and beautifully done. You have many choises with this game. A load of games and a load of fun all at once. There should be more like this out in the marketplace. Slider.

Tropical Fun
This Nintendo DS game is made up of many games to choose from and is really a lot of fun. The graphics are imaginative and great to watch. At first I thought the game was going to be too young for me - watching a monkey and a lobster enjoy life on various islands! - but I have grown quite attached to them and am happy when I accrue enough "sand dollars" to buy an additional island (and another game). The game types are inclusive. My favorites are variations on Solitaire, Sudoku, and Work Find. A great way to relax.
