Advanced Wireless Junior Leaning PC Computer for Kids

This toy has two parts, one is a monitor that displays a menu of learning categories, such as Words, Numbers, Music, etc. The other part is a small keyboard that communicates to the monitor via IR signal. There is an on/off switch on the monitor. This activates the receiver of the IR signal, not the monitor itself. There is also an on/off button on the keyboard which turns on the monitor (after the IR receiver is on).I bought this toy for my then 15 month-old son who loves gadgets and things that made sounds. He didn't find it very interesting and this toy has not been played with for the most part. However, I realize that this toy is made for an older child so my son's response is not the reason this toy is receiving a low rating.In evaluating the toy, I think this toy is not made very well. The quality of the graphics on the screen is very poor. For an older child, it would be a joke. The graphics are in black and white and very, very low resolution. The keyboard has soft keys that require a user to push down very hard in order to select an option. Sometimes, the IR signal is weak and you would have to push several times before anything happens. All in all, it's not very useful as a learning tool. As a parent, you will have to make sure both parts stay together in order to use it. We have lost the keyboard and now, the monitor just sits around.This toy is not really worth the money, although it's relatively inexpensive compared to other electronic toy computers. Better off spending a little more buying something a bit better.

i bought this computer for my 2 year old. i was a bit surprised by the size. its a bit small but all the same, its volume is great. my son loves playing the songs and dancing to the music. he is not interested yet in the spelling and maths but he will get there one day. for its price, i think its a fantastic purchase and its a nice introduction to a 2 year old to the world of computers. and its quite durable cos he throws it around a lot. lol

It served the purpose for my two year old. It occupied him while I worked on my laptop. It is perfect for small children to keep them from bothering your computer. it is not very reliable however and make be broken easily.

bought two of these pieces of %&#@ for my grand-kids, neither one worked...both my son and son-in-law are techies, very well versed in electronics, both said that these were "CRAP"...save your $$$$$$$

This is junk,did not work.Put brand new batteries in both parts and still wouldn't work.Not worth your money.

I got this for a one year old he loves computers an laptops he know how to text an look up things he took one look at this crap an would not touch it. The picture make the toy look so much bigger its a little piece of mess.

I have tried new batteries in both the monitor and keyboard, still doesn't work, also be sure you read the dimensions cause I was surprised at how small this thing was!
