Would rate zero***Received mine today. It is missing a lot of books!! Some of Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude and some of Revelations!!!! How is this possible!?! What else is missing!

It is a very nice Bible, large, easy-to-read font type. However, I noticed a misprint in 2 Kings 12, where the Subtitle says "Joash's Reign" Where it should be "Johoash's." I check against another Bible and confirmed the error. My main concern is, if there is an error in one place, how many more errors could be there?

This is an easy review to write. This bible cost less than $16 from Amazon Prime. It is a no frills KJV bible.-(1) The font is absolutely terrific. I am a font nerd and this is a special font at 11.5 point created by Thomas Nelson from a famous European font studio for their KJV bibles. What a joy to read with older eyes - this means a lot, trust me. It is very easy to read (similar to 'Bookerly font' on the Amazon kindle), dark contrast but not crowded. A beautiful font that balance the classic with clean lines....fitting of the Holy Scriptures. The words of Christ are in red, i.e. a red-letter edition.-(2) The bible is a two column layout and I am very happy that the columns are not too narrow with the font, i.e. too few words. Rather it is just right.-(3) No cross reference, no notes, etc. Just the KJV text. There is 2-page plan to read the bible in a year, a handful of color maps at the back, and a reading outline on Christ. There is a short few page KJV intro from the original text.-(4) The bible is slim and very easy to hold and handle. My study bible is a 'beast' and needs to lay on a table at home. This bible has a faux leather cover that is easy to grip and wipe down if needed - good quality.-(5) The binding and sewing is surprisingly good. I have $200 bibles and this is very close to those. It lays flat out of the box.-(6) The paper is thin but I do not notice much bleed through if any. I cannot figure out how they did this. I think the text is perfectly aligned on the front and back pages. I am very happy with this.-(7) I bought the burgundy with plain white edges, very classy and clean. Has a cross laser etched and Holy Bible. Very nice.-(8) I normally would not like a bible printed in China (do to treatment of Christians and/or quality), Thomas Nelson must have very strict quality control on this. Mine came with perfect quality. I am glad in some ways the print them in China....maybe the exposure of this over there has won folks to Christ.-(9) Well I have said too much for simple bible, but kudos to Thomas Nelson for this extremely affordable bible in the beloved KJV at such a value.-Thank you to Amazon for making this a prime item. The bible is really nice right off the bat. It's the perfect size to fit in a purse or to give as a gift👍(used a regular sized pencil & post it notes to compare size😊) The words of Christ are in red and it has maps in color. It also has a year reading plan. But what I loved the most was how every section in the bible has a title which makes it easier to know what you're going to read. I really can't complain, the price was great and the bible is beautiful.

Its a great bible with a compact size and easy to understand index.Its definitely a new king james version I honestly expected the old kjv when I bought it but I wont complain. Doesn't appear to have any modifications to the text since certain dubious individuals bought the copy rights to the bible.It is small text so if you have trouble reading smaller print I'd look elsewhere.

The KJV bible and nothing but the KJV bible without pagan markings such as crosses and fishes or other pagan symbols that adorn a lot of bibles today. Thank you Thomas Nelson you will definitely continue to get my business in the future if the quality standards remain the same as with this bible.This bible is the perfect size, very readable print, and formatted with subject headings and the Messiah's words in red, make this easily the best bible I own for just sitting down and reading. I own all kinds of bibles and my favorite to just sit down a read has been my leather Church KJV bible. It is the large print version with concordance so it size is 7" x 9.75" x 1.5" so it is much larger and heavier. I have never cared for the Church bible printing, formatting and their maps are a joke but it has been adequate for just sitting at my desk and reading, until now that is. This bible with it's soft pliability as well as everything I have described above makes it so nice to just be able to read whether sitting at my desk or in my recliner.I can't read even super giant size 18 pt print without reading glasses anymore so to those who may complain about the 9.3 pt print size of this bible, get some reading glasses. I have no problem reading the 9.3 pt print or the even smaller 7 pt print of the compact version of this TN KJV bible. I just received the compact version today and am looking forward to breaking it in later this evening. I also ordered the TN KJV Study bible in genuine leather the other day so looking forward to that arriving and just ordered the TN compact concordance KJV bible for $10.39 today so I am rocking the Thomas Nelson bibles having never owned any prior.

Great KJV Bible for the price. This is one of those things that you can't put a price on, it's worth more than most things. It's unfortunate that the 'mainstream' church typically don't teach biblical truth, as they are trying to be politically correct, but the Bible is not politically correct, it is truthfully correct.If you are trying to understand God's word, the church is not the best place for you to do this, in my opinion. They teach nothing about the end times, or the prophecy of revelation, which are the most important things of our time. The pieces are falling into place, and the evidence is there if you truly seek it.Deep down everyone knows there is something fundamentally wrong with the way we are living in these days, but instead of trying to understand the reason why, people are enjoying their ignorance(bliss), and consuming all forms of entertainment(TV, Social Media, Video Games), pleasure(drugs, alcohol abuse, partying) materialism(excess, over indulgence, gluttony), pride(social status, personal achievements), etc.At the end of the day, each person is responsible for their own actions and being, none else are responsible for yourself. The destination you arrive is the path you chose.Lastly, I'd like to mention something that a lot of unbelievers will try to argue against, by saying that how could a merciful God submit his creation to eternal suffering. Well the answer is you are correct, he is not doing this. Nowhere in the scripture does it say suffering is eternal as a punishment. The word of God strictly says that during the Great Judgment, the ones who understood and submitted before God their sins(repentance) are gifted eternal life, and those who were made aware of Christ, and refused him, and denied him, were gifted eternal death. There is no mention of eternal suffering. Even Satan, the king of sin, is only going to be sentenced to 1000 years, before he too is submitted to eternal death(lake of fire).There is no eternal suffering, only eternal life & eternal death(separation). Please, do not take my word for this, read the word of God in revelation and you will see it for yourself. All you have to do to be saved is truly repent of your sins, and have faith in Christ Jesus, who is the son of God, the creator. Do not try to rationalize or justify what God chose to do with our existence - Does the painting question the painter why he made the painting in such a way, or subjected it to a certain plan? It is normal to question and reason with things, as God has given us the skill of reasoning, but to have faith is to truly believe that God is correct and has the right idea for us when he commands us what to do.This is no different from parenting your children, as you have the best intent for them, whether they want to listen(or rationalize) with you, or not. Like this, God is our parent, and he has our best interest in mind, whether we can fully understand every little detail or not.All of this I write, comes from me, who was an atheist for the past 20+ years of my life, and I always had a hatred for God and for people who loved God. I would always put them down, and curse them. What was this motivation inside me to put these people down? If I truly didn't care about God, why did I spend so much effort to try and convince people he didn't exist? Do you go around trying to convince people water is wet? The spirit of evil was inside me, but is now purged thanks to God.Be aware people, our thoughts in our head are not your own, the decision you make is who you are.

The media could not be loaded.  Really small nothing like it was advertised on Amazon I was expecting a slim line Bible, but didn’t expect it too be so small as well, not worth the money, I will have to wear extra strong glasses to read the letters, one good thing about is that can easy fit in a handbags

Atendeu às minhas expectativas. A bíblia é BEM leve mesmo tendo tamanho médio, o que particularmente eu achei ótimo. A letra é pequena, mas não minúscula.No entanto, apenas duas considerações a fazer para quem é nativo da lingua portugue assim como eu: A versão do inglês utilizado na bíblia é do inglês britânico e não do norte americano. Portanto, quem está acostumado com a versão utilizada nos EUA ou Canadá, verá que não é a mesma coisa. Além disso, a versão em particular dessa bíblia é muito antiga e com palavras difíceis (como se fosse uma almeida corrigida/fiel), e por consequência, eu que não sou um expert na lingua inglesa, embora já tenha um certo domínio da lingua, fiquei meio perdido as vezes. Como eu disse, a linguagem utilizada não é tão simples (como por exemplo a NVI que é tranquila também em inglês).Apenas isso. O produto é bom, confortável e vale o custo. Contudo, considerem o que está escrito acima antes de efetuarem a compra.

Perfect readable normal bible size including the Old and New Testament.I say this honestly as a Jewish - Christian with Native American roots. This bible has restored my faith. The white cover has something that I can not describe. If you are a Christian, then buy it alone to have this white bible effect.
