It's pretty, but would be nicer if it were as pictured - the pattern is not what I orderedThe rubber cap is already decomposed and falls offChinese crap!!!I reordered the gazing ball because the seller said if I ordered the titled ball it would come with feathers on top and not squares.Turned out to be not true and I am returning that one and not ordering anymore from the seller, they don’t seem to have any idea of how to handle inventory.After many months I reordered thinking by now the seller would have fixed the problem OR Amazon would have.I'm sending back another, the third one.I give up!

First time ordered this item the incorrect item was shipped where it had the square pattern at the bottom and top. Totally not the item described or pictured. Returned and requested another to try and get the correct advertised order, yet again incorrect item shipped verses what is advertised. Total waste of my time and vendor seems to not care to get corrected and ship the correct advertised pictured item.

I too was disappointed that the color was not as shown in the photo. Instead of a warm. golden iridescent tone mine is a cool silver/blue and purple combination. Still very beautiful but the spot I intended it for is a tad shady at times and I wanted the brighter color so it would show up a bit more in the darker areas. Another customer shared the same comment. It seems these are two very different color combinations and its too bad the seller doesn't differentiate between the two and give us a choice so we get the color we actually want.

The coloring of the item I received does not match the picture, nor does the design of the mosaic. Very disappointing. At first, I thought the coloring was just because of the lighting but even with the sun shining right through it, it doesn't look like the product image. I picked this particular gazing ball because of the beautiful layout of the mosaic design vs. the square bits on so many, and the beautiful autumn colors presented. This has the square bits on a good portion of the top and is mostly blue and purple color. The photo I took is with the morning sun shining through it. Pretty, but not as pictured.

I read all of the reviews before purchasing this gazing ball. Even though the reviews were not all good, I purchased it anyway. A lot of customers said that the gazing ball did not look like the picture. I found this to be true. It is much darker than the picture depicted. In fact I received the Garden Baroque Gazing Ball instead of the Garden Baroque Splendor Gazing Ball that I ordered. I would have sent it back but it actually looks good in my front of the house display. Once I put a spotlight on it for the evening, it will look beautiful.

ZERO stars. Before purchase, I contacted Seller via Amazon and was assured that petal pattern covered all of ball and there were no square mosaics at top of ball. Yet, when it arrived, the top is ball had square mosaics which make the ball look cheap. Sellers and Amazon should ensure item descriptions and photos are accurate. RETURNED.

I've been searching for the perfect gazing ball for years and I knew that the Baroque Splender was the one as soon as I came across it! It's absolutely beautiful and the picture doesn't do it justice.

Exactly as others have mentioned. It is not the same design. The feathers do not extend all the way to the top and bottom. There are squares and it is a dark purple and blue shade rather than the light colors shown. I’m really disappointed but it is still pretty and I don’t want to go through the hassle of a return while this coronavirus is happening. As of right now this product is very expensive at almost $50. To not get the right product for that price is really irritating.
