I can’t really access the strength of the clamping effectiveness onto the forks with the forks tilted downward lifting a heavy load - something that should probably be avoided in general, a forks taper would work against you in that scenario. In that situation, securing the lifting hook to the fork’s frame with a chain would be the best work-around.
