Yale Small Covered Aluminum Padlock with 4 keyed Alike Keys for Gym Locker, Luggage, and Cases (4 Pack)

Not a locksmith just wanted to throw on a gun case to make it legal to travel and needed two per case. Best value I could find. The law is silly someone could easily walk off with the entire case if someone got into my trunk. I am of the belief that locks keep out the honest but do luggage locks, in general, say hey good stuff in here? They feel and look secure and the key turns them easily, not the smoothest action but not horrid either.Id use them in any place that requires a lock and they need to be small. These id call med small they say to use for luggage but they are bigger than any luggage locks I've seen. I say between school locker size and luggage size but useable for both.

I have always been a Master Lock only type. They have never let me down. But I learned how to pick locks for a hobby- i mean beyond cars, standard door turn knob, and deadbolt- those I mastered a long time ago. But combination & keyed padlocks- never tried- Bolt cutters and pry bars were always plenty-- except that time with the crazy redundancy of Locks and chains, and more Locks-- but lockSmith and brothersWesson .45acp 230gr FMJ sorted through them quite quickly.So I did in fact successfully complete the application of my choice tool kit to the end of the security of several high end Master Locks. This is all to say, as I was been told by my ol man as a youth, "Boy- locks don't slow down anyone who wants to get in- Locks only keep the honest man honest".Anyway, I needed smaller locks for luggage and knowing that these same size by Master Lock cost more for a pk of 2, and really they can all be picked or (especially these little things) cut in half, with the bolt cutters in my tool box-- like a warm butter spread on a hot English muffin.1 thing I will say-- the packaging is harder (NO JOKE) to breach than one of these padlocks. I was cursing 🤬 and thinking, why not use this packaging somehow to secure my stuff? I don't have a pair of scissors- except for the ones in my Swiss Army Knife. They were what opened the damn packaging-- butci HATE that type of pressed and sealed hard border plastic, and the sharp edges that seem to be out to get me...Overall, Great buy- serves their purpose, and the price is right... Recommended by me folks...

Exactly what I was looking for. Multiple locks keyed identically. They look nice and work smoothly. We plan to use them on lockable exterior electrical outlet covers at our facility. They are not yet installed, therefore I can’t attest to their weatherproof durability.

I just needed something that would keep an honest person honest. I literally opened one of these locks with a pair of long screwdrivers.They look nice, give the appearance of being locked (chain in my case), and are highly resistant to regular weather, as compared to weather near a chemical plant. That being said, they have held up pretty good in the salt air environment as found when 300 feet from a beach on the Gulf of Mexico and near daily rain.

Yale has always been a quality brand. Sturdier than Master Locks IMO.These are excellent for my gun cases.
