It’s the perfect balance of sporty and classy, so it can be worn casually or dressed up. Good Quality for the Price: Casio is known for offering great quality at affordable prices, and this watch is no exception. It feels solid and well-built, with no flimsy parts. The stainless steel is durable and comfortable to wear. Easy to Read Dial: The blue dial is vibrant and easy to read, with large hour markers and hands that make it clear to tell time at a glance. The simple, clean design ensures great visibility. Water Resistance: This watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, which makes it perfect for light swimming or general water activities. I really like this watch. I don't know why people aren't talking about it as much as a lot of other Casio watches. This Casio punches far above its weight for its current price (~ 40-50$ CAD). The dial looks awesome and the water resistance was much appreciated for my latest snorkeling adventure. I know the Casio Duro is the most well-respected entry-level Casio dive watch, but now that it costs 100+$ CAD, I feel like this MTPVD01D-2BV (say that 3 times fast) is the new entry-level. The bezel doesn't rotate though, so do keep this in mind. Still, if you like how the watch looks, I think it's a no-brainer. Note: I replaced the strap with a blue NATO strap, and I frankly love it.
