Great product!
I highly recommend this product. This is the only similar type padding I've used so I can't compare to others, but I can say that this works. I snowboard and I had started doing bigger jumps and in the process slammed my tailbone for the first time -- hard! Just 3 weeks later on my next trip I had ordered these. I had to buy some pants one size bigger (just my preference), but other than that they weren't really that noticeable from the outside. I ended up slamming several times. It still was a little uncomfortable, since I was already sore, but this protected me, preventing further injury. I feel that this would definitely save a lot of people from a lot of pain! The adjustable straps work well and they don't limit movement. Glad someone created it!

Highly recommend for anyone learning to snowboard!
It fits me great. I am 31-32 inch waist and falling on my butt while snowboarding is very forgiving in this thing. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone like me, a middle aged dad daring myself into a new sport and loving it. I have seen prior reviews regarding problems with 'fit' and I have noticed most individuals who described their size as being greater than 38 inches in the waist. I cannot speak on the fit for people of that size. For me, it was great and I specifically recommend it (snickering aside from its name) to anyone who asks.

Tried it, but it didn't work for me.
I returned this product because it did not truly offer the support I wanted. It was a comfortable fit, but I think perhaps the tilt of my pelvis prevented it from offering proper support while snowboarding. I am very small in the rear region, and found simply using more undergarments gave me more protection than this product. It might work out differently for others than it did for me. Give it a try, the return policy is invaluable!

Saved my tush and my trip!
I can't be happier with the results of the Azzpad during my latest snowboarding trip!I am a newbie and in December bruised or fractured an already damaged tailbone. I attempted to another go in early January and left the mountain after one run, in tears from pain. Well, we wanted one more try before the season ended so I ordered and expedited the Azzpad.I take some pretty hard falls and barely felt a thing with the Azzpad on. It sits in just the right area, with ample support (though you may not think so upon delivery!). This is truly a gem product. It removed the fear/hesitation in falling, made me more confident and secure and made the runs much more enjoyable.Only drawback is the profile/size. I did buy a size up in pants in preparation, and it was needed. You will look like you are wearing a diaper and you will get some weird looks, but it is worth it. Because of its bulk, there is some regular readjustment needed once you get off the lift or take a spill. Push it back down on your bum and you're covered, but this can look funny to some observers! The velcro straps are no issue around the legs. I put my Azzpad on over my shorts and under by thermals so it stayed a little better. The front buckle did end up bruising my abdomen a little, but again, I fell a lot!The bulk and need to adjust were the only reasons for a 4 versus 5 star.If you want to enjoy your time on the mountain and not waste $$, get this product.

Azzpad saved my snowboard experience!
I am a real inexpert snowboarder (this is my second season). Last year I felt several times in the same bone and the pain is still on. I tried the Azzpad and I really recommend it. Again I felt at the beginning of this season and I am totally sure that without my Azzpad snowboarding for me would be history. I was doubting due the possibility to feel uncomfortable in the chairlift but in my case it was no problem at all. I do not think that underwear wit good pads would have been able to give me the same protection.

Great product!
I've taken two big falls on my rear end - inline skating on asphalt. The Azzpad saved my tailbone. I wear it every day. Awesome!

It does add some girth to your waste so make sure your pants are large enough
Works as described. Provides protection for tailbone/lower back. It does add some girth to your waste so make sure your pants are large enough, although you could technically where this on the outside of the pants and wear a jacket to cover it.My pants were already tight to begin with so now i have to ride with them unzipped haha. Nevertheless, they stay in place!
