Find Brostown 100Pcs Soft Pet Dog Nail Caps Claws Control Paws of 5 Kinds 5Pcs Adhesive Glue + 5pcs Applicator with Instructions and more at desertcart.com Review: Great for worn toe nails - My parents’ dog Scout has been dragging his paw, which has caused his toe nails to be worn down to the quick, resulting in bleeding. He is undergoing work up for why he’s dragging his paw, but in the meantime we needed a solution to prevent excessive wear to his toe nails. A boot was not realistic for all day wear. His paw would get too sweaty and might develop skin breakdown. These caps have worked beautifully. I trimmed the open end so it would fit his claw better and not rub the skin at the base of the claw. In the pic, the middle two toe nails are capped. The shiny one I just applied today. The scuffed one I applied 4 days ago and it’s still firmly affixed to his nail without much wear. I ordered XL and XXL in case. XL is for 20-40 lbs, XXL is for 40-70 lbs according to the included instructions. Scout is a 50 lb Shiba Inu mix, but has dainty paws. The XXL was way too big. The XL worked perfectly after a trim. In the future I would choose different color mail caps so that I can readily see if the cap fell off our not. Review: Size way up - Sizing is off. I was not able to place these correctly because they were very narrow. The glue is hard to apply and dries up quickly.

Great for worn toe nails
My parents’ dog Scout has been dragging his paw, which has caused his toe nails to be worn down to the quick, resulting in bleeding. Thin, cheaper products than the soft paws brand
Softer and thinner than the name brand. Wear out quicker. If you don’t mind replacing them twice as fast or if your animal is and indoor pet. They might last longer. We have an asphalt driveway and my dog likes to run so they don’t last long. Bought them to help prevent the damage on the screens in the house when he sees a squirrel he can’t help himself but to scratch the windows.

I Used No Glue!
I wish they had a 3x but all I had to do is trim them a bit! As you can see I cut the tips off leaving plenty to touch the floor when walking and also easier to put on tighter. They've been on a few hours and only 2 came off. I trimmed them a bit more and no issues. She walks so much better! And as the title states, I Used No Glue! I'll update after they've been on much longer...

Get the job done, but don’t last long.
Even though I couldn’t get these to stay on im still giving them a 4. My dog is 80 pounds and these can last 24 hours if I really watch him. Dog is defective, product is pretty cool! I may try a size down to see if that’ll keep the fur out more. It occasionally gets stuck in the glue as I’m wrastlin’ him during application. Usually takes me 30-40 minutes to apply. Total pain, but still recommend, your dog will look adorable and confused for a good 15 minutes once finished and walking around.

They don't stay on
I was so hoping these would work. My 16 yr old dog, her 2 back feet, when she walks, she often drags her feet on the ground which has caused the 2 middle nails on both feet to be extremely grounded down and her balance in standing in place isn't the greatest right now. I had purchased these in hopes it would help since other reviewers stated it helped their dog with standing and balancing issues. Firstly, these nail caps are tough to put on, esp since her nails were very short. Also, make sure to wear gloves bc the glue will stick strongly on your fingers. I initially tried putting these caps on each nail on both rear feet. I followed the directions and everything. Within an hour, 4 of the caps came off. So, I tried again, this time holding the cap onto the nail for a longer period of time (also used more glue) and put on 4 more. It did hold better, however, within just a couple days, most of the caps fell off. Of the few that stayed on, I noticed after a few more days, that they got holes in the point. Also, if you want to remove these yourself, it's almost impossible. I had 2 caps that stayed on her nails but the integrity of the caps deteriorated after a few days but when I tried removing the caps, I couldn't bc of the glue. Maybe I didn't have luck with these caps since my dog drags her back feet on the ground, but, I don't recommend plus they didn't seem to help with her balancing, standing or walking the short time they did stay on.

Easy to use durable nail covers!
Enzo is about 30lbs so we got the XL size which is just a little small for his back nails. We will order the XXL next time. These are easy to put on if you have a dog that will lay down and let you touch their nails. They are thick so I feel like they will last a full 4-6 weeks before they need replacing. They help him get traction on our wood floors and reduce the clicking sound when he walks around. We will definitely buy again.

They keep me safe from scratches and she looks great.
This product was recommended to me by my vet. My Chihuahua likes to scratch my chest because she was raised inside my shirt. Somewhat like a kangaroo pouch. She is hairless and she likes to get inside my shirt but she scratches me without these soft rubber tipped nails. They keep me safe from scratches and she looks great.

I purchased these for my senior dog. He slips on the hard wood floor. The tips don’t fit well and the glue doesn’t hold. Half of the tips fell off within half a day. Not worth the effort.

Should have ordered XXL ...seems to be working so far ... Ty

They work great, I had to do some modifications, cut them shorter, cut them underneath, and only glued on to two nails on each paw. That’s all it took for our hyper dog to stop scrambling and now has gained traction on the hardwood flooring and saving our hardwood from more scratches. As the nails have been growing out I cut the tips off haven’t reached his nails on those yet, and while he has lost one per nail per paw so far two weeks in, he still has great traction and is still not sliding.
