Almay Multi-Benefit Mascara

I love this mascara. This is a new find for me and a relief. I really dislike tubing mascara and this does not have that tubing effect. It does not have a strong smell either. The mascara wand is just what I was looking for. It’s soft and full and helps to not leave clumps. It gets even the small lashes in the corners. I was starting to have an allergy to just about any mascara I was using and it didn’t matter price range or brand. I had come to the conclusion it was the tubing mascara or stop wearing mascara. So I went on the hunt for a mascara that was hypoallergenic and didn’t tube. This is it and I love it. It doesn’t flake and get super stiff. It comes off easily with soap and water or a makeup remover. Does not leave little pieces of black stuff all over my eyes or face. But best of all, it doesn’t make my eyes water, swell, itch, or get blurry like the tubing mascara’s do. I do believe I have found my new go-to mascara. Whew!! Relieved!

I used this mascara for years and I always liked it. I switched to another hypoallergenic brand for a short while, but it wasn't waterproof and I prefer waterproof. When I recently purchased the Almay waterproof multi-benefit mascara, the brush seems over-sized and extremely bushy and the formula different. I can't possible apply it without getting it all over my lid and under eye because the brush is so big and over loaded. It's clumpy on my lashes. I have completely wiped the brush clean with a paper towel to start fresh and it happen again. Something has changed. The inner mechanism that wipes the brush of excess mascara isn't doing it's job. I hate when brands change something that used to work so well. I'm just throwing it away, what a waste.

I have been buying this mascara for several years, both through Amazon and in store. I like this product. I gave it a 4 star rating, because it has been a good product. However this particular mascara packaging had the date 2017 on it. The color of the tube was solid blue, instead of the current two-tone blue. The mascara was dry and could only be applied lightly.

Great mascara! Doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.

This is a simple brush but it does exactly what I want it to do. Nothing fancy, just gets the job done. The waterproof mascara does work well as waterproof. I’ve been using this for years and always stick with this brand.

This mascara causes much less irritation for my extremely sensitive eyes than any other mascara I have tried. However, I still experienced some watering and a little bit of irritation. I rated it 3 stars since it did not lengthen my lashes well like it claims. It also sheds and looks a little bit like black dust under my eyes when I wear it. Overall, I did not find it to be very good quality but it is really the only mascara I am able to use with my sensitive eyes.

I have developed allergies (itchy, watery eyes) to most mascara products. I tried this one and it works very well for me. It is waterproof yet comes off easily with eye makeup remover.

I historically have loved Almay mascara. I used to use the purple container one. Not sure what it was called, but it was excellent. Better than any department store mascara I had used. Purchased this blue container one and it is NOT up to my standards. It’s like you’re barely wearing anything on your lashes and that is after many attempts of coding them. I love the Maybelline sky high mascara MUCH better. Really no comparison. Do not buy this one!!!! I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt the need to share one about this because I just threw it in the garbage.

Perfect hypoallergenic mascara for sensitive eyes irritated by standard mascaras. I tried several before stumbling across this one. My eyes and lashes love it!

Read a bunch of bad reviews saying this was gloomy and was nearly out off, but that hasn't been my experience at all. Arrived quickly in original packaging and behaved like a new mascara. It is a buildable, so not instant volume, but goes on evenly, without smudging, lasted through some really hot days and doesn't flake or move. I've spent a long time looking for a decent reliable mascara and this is the best so far. Major plus point, it is excellent for my sensitive eyes, where plenty others have failed.

I wear contacts and have very sensitive eyes that are in general dry and irritated. It’s hard to find a mascara that doesn’t irritate my eyes even more and this is a gem! I can wear it all day with my co tact’s in with no irritation. I also find it goes on very smoothe with no clumping and not too thick it’s a very natural look. I’m on my second re purchase and will continue to purchase with product.
