These have sugar or some kind of sweetener in them. NOT what wanted at all. I bought these for a cleaner way to keep my cuticle area moisturized. But the sweetener will cause a stickiness... The balm stick is huge in width so feel silly trying to use it for my lips. Well, lesson learned .

I purchased this for my dog. His pads were dry and ready to crack. His nose was also dry from the holes he had been digging in my yard. The solid stick made it easy for me to apply quickly and the size gave great coverage for my large Golden's paws. It only took a couple of applications to see a difference in the condition of his pads and nose. The only bad issue was the taste, he found it yummy and he licked a bunch of it off until I found other ways to distract him.After using one stick for my dog, I decided to keep the other for myself. The smell is amazing and I use it for all my rough patches on knees and elbows. It's very convenient and no greasy feeling hands after application. I'm starting to look into other Palmer's products and have been impressed by the quality.

The larger size stick is great! The overall worth of the product shows over time when you realize that you have to slather it on more often, and the more it's used, the more you need it to avoid sore and dry lips.... puzzling, and I haven't figured out the science (what ingredient to blame) on that yet.
