Bought these bearings to repair back wheel on a child’s scooter where the open sided bearing had rusted out and failed. I used 2 of these bearings either side of the wheel and with a little bit of gentle persuasion they fitted perfectly . Not only are these 2 bearings better than the previous original one but they are sealed to keep out water entering the bearing and causing the same original problem. I would recommend buying and fitting bearings such as this rather than being tempted to buy a spare back wheel which has an open sided bearing that will soon rust and fail. These bearings are so inexpensive , it’s amazing that manufacturers use cheap and nasty ones which will soon give up .

I needed this bearing to replace worn Morphy Richards food mixer bearing, as a result of two star reviews, I opened one side and did think slightly more grease would could have been applied, I added a more grease and replaced side cover, I am sure this bearing will do the job and under test was fine.
