Bolted in just fine. Looks good and holds me up. Tucks in nice and neat. Instructions are good, plus there are plenty of videos to watch.There is one wiring harness connector to undo. Mine was similar to the one in the video where the guy couldn't figure out how to disconnect. It has a white lever arm that engages or separates the connectors. On the top side of the connection, there is a little red tab that you have to slide away from the white lever arm. With that tab slid back, you can pull the lever arm away and disconnect the two connectors.I also found it easier to get into place in the open position. This can be dangerous since it is spring loaded. I used a zip tie around the middle links to keep them from separating while I worked on it. It worked for me. Proceed at your own risk. :)Total time to install (including getting tools out and putting them away) is about 30-45 minutes. The hardest part is getting it in place. It is tight in that corner. Have plenty of light so you can see what you're doing. Also, as one of the videos mentioned, getting the required torque on those bolts is tough in that space. So, grab onto that torque wrench and give it hell. We'll get through this!

be careful when installing the step might close on you while installing it and the torque spec is not correct but other than that I love it its really good and can handle heavy weight and rugged it doesn't deploy on its on if you hit a pothole or on highway speed so far all is good we will see after some time and wear and tear

I finally installed the step on my 2019 Ram 1500. I waited a few months due to the cold weather. The install was easy with the proper tools. I used a 21 mm socket, 1/2 breaker bar( swivel) and 1/2 ratchet, plus 18 MM socket and a trim pin remover. The whole process was done without lifting the truck and took about a 1/2 hour. The step is well made, and is easy to use. As I am a big guy with bad knees this works great for me, and when not in use it's hidden.

It's perfect. Took half an hour to install. But it went on a new truck, didn't have to mess with rusty bolts. Snaps down and up perfectly. I can't improve on the design.

Is easy to install and works great, but sometime later one of the support rods came undone and the step was just dangling back there. I tried to contact the company for parts but is very hard to get a hold of anyone in that company.
