I bought both the 1/4 pint and the 1/2 pint. I used them for Christmas puddings. The 1/4 size, I was able to put them altogether in the pressure cooker for 2 hours 2 1/2 pints of water. I then repeated the process with 4 of the 1/2 pint size. I had 3 on the trivet at the bottom and 1 on top of them. After an hour I noticed a strange smell - the 3 at the bottom had partially melted and stuck to the sides of the pressure cooker.

Bought for steaming and storing homemade Christmas puddings. They were fine in the steamer and are a good size to make a pudding for two people I’d say. I have knocked off 1 star as some lids not as tight-fitting as I thought they’d be.

Really good just the right size for individual puddings , didn't know if the lid should be left on when steaming but did anyway worked perfectly cooked to perfection , did think the lids might blow off but they didn't, re-ordered second lot which arrived today now they have steak and kidney puddings in them !!!

Bought these to give Christmas puddings as gifts. Lids fit perfectly and very easy to release puddings after steaming. Would definitely buy again.

Great size for individual puddings.Quite sturdy, can be used with or without the lids.
