Are these shoes for skating or will they get ripped up easily

I think they will get ripped up easily. I bought a different version/colorway, but I think they all have mesh which I would think would start to wear/rip with you first couple kick-flips. I don't skate much these days, but from my experience these would be better for after a day of skating when you're just kicking-it.
