Matt Jensen, The Last Mountain Man

Johnstone’s stories rival any of the classical Western writers. The Mountain Man stories portray the raw lawless West in its infancy. Life was harsh and the good guys don’t always come out on top. The women had to be tough as the men they loved.

I read all this Authors books. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys going back to the Western Cowboy Stories.

pretty good read i wish matt had done in the headmanof the home for wayward children. and i wish there were more names for characters. we have too many named poke,asa,we even have elmer who was mcallisters right handman. the same names are used too much..

I had read all the series of Matt Jensen: The Last Mountain Man years ago. I decided to order and read them on my Kindle. I was not disappointed and have enjoyed re-reading them again. My only complaint with the series is the number of typos throughout each of the books. Whoever typed them for the Kindle version certainly did not pay attention to detail.

As always the amazing team of William W. And J.A. Johnstone delivers the best in western story telling perfection. When it comes to literary western/action it absolutely gets no better guranteed.

Wonderful, was a page turner! Have read several of this authors books and have liked all of them, will read more of them.
