Could be the best of available blank cds
Not so many people burn downloaded music onto cds as they used to. As a deejay, I find it useful. One thing I particularly don't appreciate about recorded music these days is that it so often comes with insufficient information about the music, the musician, and minor but interesting data about when and where it was recorded and who all of the performers were. That can all be found and provided on the notes in the downloaded music in a plastic envelope. Handy for djs and good for fans to acquire. These cds are inexpensive, they were sent right out, well packaged, and they are from a good source. Thus far I am very satisfied with the previous CMC Pro cd. I'm hopeful that in years to come they will prove to be hardy and do not deteriorate in sound quality: time will tell.

Great Disks--Poor Shipping
Taiyo Yuden are the best disks you can find. They are worth the higher price due to their higher quality. I have never had one fail yet. However, the 100 pack that I purchased from Maelo Company arrived rolling around in their shipping container (cardboard box) with no padding or protection. They could easily have been damaged in transit. I published this same review weeks ago only to have it erased after I received a phone call from Maelo trying to get me to modify the comments on the shipping issue. After I declined to change my review, it disappeared from Amazon, and here I am again being asked again to review my purchase! I don't like the fact that I was immediately called at home after posting my original review by the Maelo rep trying to get me to reverse my review in exchange for additional goods or favors (Starbucks coffee certificate, more disks, a favor on my next purchase, etc.) I told him I was not inclined to change a truthful review in exchange for goods or favors- which were essentially a bribe . The original review then disappeared, which makes me want to stop posting reviews altogether if the system here is that corrupt.

Great CD for multipurpose use
I got a stack of these CDs for using while DJing. I don't need a fancy printer for my CDs but wanted something with no logos so I could write on the whole surface. Other than that, they are a standard CD-R. They have worked well and I haven't had any error CDs from the entire stack. The Pros: No logos on the CD surface, reasonable price; no error CDs The Cons: as with any CD, they get a scratch and they skip Overall: If you aren't making CDs for production, these are a great CD and can be labeled with a permanent marker very easily.

Very Dependable.
Very dependable discs. Taiyo Yuden are the best discs around. I use nothing but these branded discs. These discs allow you to print on them with your ink-jet printer. I use an Epson Artisan 835 that actually has a CD holder to hold the CD in place while printing on it. The only problem with these CD's is that the matte printed side may result in some CD players rejecting the CD, or having some difficulty in inserting it into the player (such as in car stereo systems). Otherwise, these are great CD's at a good price.

Looking for quality CD-R blanks? Go somewhere else!
Awful, truly awful product quality. Several attempts were made to burn audio CD projects. Had an 80% FAILURE rate. Had to rely on 20 year old T-Y and Mitsui blanks to finish my projects. As usual, they performed flawlessly. Unbelievable. How can CMC sell this, and at a premium price, no less???

Best CDs you can buy. Non can compare to these.
Excellent. Never had a problem with Taiyo yuden. Been using these for over 10 years. Company did an excellent job shipping. These are the matte finish. Excellent for photos and words. Have a program from Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker 3 its terrific. Connects up to I tunes and copies titles to cd. These CDs are 100% perfect. The photos are copied excellent. Would not use any other. And the price is very good. They also make a gloss which I have. Use them for full coverage photos

Great Product
I love this product. I make CDs for local bands using my Canon printer & burning towner and there is no better choice than these discs. They're extremely dependable and I've yet to have one mess up in about the 1200-1500 that I've printed. The surface is perfect and holds ink well, though I always lay them out in stacks to assure they dry though. Sometimes that will take a min depending on the disc art. Only setback I've had is their packaging/shipping. It's quick, but they are usually just wrapped in a layer of cellophane/tape so stacking them can be an issue once they're opened. I just use an older spindle. But if that's the worst of it, I highly recommend these discs.
