Unlike the Bestpresso capsules, the Don Francisco capsules do allow the water to flow through the capsule correctly. Brewed fine and tastes reasonable. However, the flavor seems to be weak. Seems like these capsule makers have to find the balance between allowing the flow of water through the capsule and the density of the coffee grinds. This one has better flow at the expense of flavor intensity. Still tastes okay, but would be better if it was stronger.

I use these in my L’OR machine and they make superior iced coffee. I just had one as an espresso with no sugar or milk- just plain. It was very good and smooth. Not harsh or bitter at all. I really like this one!

These Nespresso Original line coffee capsules made of aluminum work well in my Pixie. The coffee was good to OK for my taste. I'm trying to find medium and dark roast coffee to replace the Italian roast blend I used to buy from Nespresso. This was OK but wasn't it.

I've been searching for years to find a good espresso capsule. I like the convenience of the Nespresso maker, but really dislike their blends. I've tried several other brands with no luck. The Old Havana makes a great espresso shot - not just for a capsule. It's become my go to morning coffee over my regular espresso machine!

I’m a big fan of these Nespresso pods and have reordered them a few times.I typically have two pods every morning with a splash of half and half.I am by no means a coffee snob, but I do appreciate a nice, fresh cup of espresso. I don’t detect any strange taste or bitterness with this brand. I think it has a lovely aroma, and I think it’s a great value. I have not had any issues with the performance of the pods in my machine (I have an instant pot brand coffee maker that accepts both k-cups AND these Nespresso pods). I am sensitive to highly acidic coffee, and this brand has never left me with an upset stomach, nausea, or heartburn.
