Speedo Women's Heathered Clipback Two Piece Swimsuit

Update: saw that I gave this 3 stars but I've had this bathing suite still and still like it. I don't use it too often though.I ordered this in a size 6 based on the reviews. My usual size is a small (32/27/35). I received the suit in two different sizes though, the top was a size 6 and the bottoms a size 4.The size 6 TOP was a tad bit loose until I made the straps connect in the middle so that really the only way I can wear it I guess. It fits fine in that nothing will pop out but not comfortably snug either. Can't really complain though I just remember thinking "man, it feels spacious. I have small boobs though 32 C or 34 B. The inside has a lining but I can still see my nipples through it so not sure the point in it but not a big deal for me. Another thing is it's not that flattering being as I have small boobs. I almost look boyish.The bottoms, size 4, were SNUG. I am a bit worried that when I have them on for awhile it will be "cutting in" uncomfortable but while trying them on I feel like it maybe okay. I'm also thinking maybe I will stretch it out after time. The back shows more butt than I would like (not full coverage), bikini style. The under side I was worried when I seen it because it looks pretty narrow but covered well and narrowed more when it came up the butt area.The color is cute and overall all I just need something for the gym pool. If I had received the whole size 6 I feel like it would have fit well and scored 1 more star but honestly I'm just keeping the swimsuit because I hate returning items via mail and waiting. Seeing as I had been needing one for awhile anyways. The customer service I always appreciate. They try hard to please the customers and that's why I still love Amazon.

In other brands of swimsuits, I usually have to order a larger size, since I am large-busted (DDD cup), but this turned out to be true to size. I like the suit, and it provides full coverage. It is cute and well-made. Everyone is different in terms of proportions, so it's always been hard for me to find the perfect-fitting suit. I wear a 6-8 in clothes sizes and usually (with the Nike Core and a couple of other brands of swimwear) order two sizes up or a Medium. The 12 was too big, but I tailored it to fit myself, because I didn't want to go through the process of returning it. I like that it is big enough to fully cover and hold a larger bust. I will try a size 8 or 10 next time. The straps are adjustable, and the material is thick and durable. Overall, a good suit for someone who regularly swims laps and needs their suit to stay put.

Sports suit are supposed to be tight and this one is. I had to have the top altered, like everyone else that likes this suit. I'm 5'4 and a 34 DD and some where between a size 4 and 6 pants size. I had an inch taken out of the straps and now the suit fits when the clasp is closed in the back. This still doesn't prevent the top from taking water but I'm not using it for laps so I'm not terribly bothered by it.

I ordered a size up like the comments suggested and it fit well. There is a clip that attaches the two straps together in back, this really helped the fit. It would have been to big on top without. Also, I didn't need the tie in the bottoms, but will use when I swim, just in case. I have kids and need something that will keep things in place and it's nice for that. Wouldn't use it in lap swimming. Top isn't tight enough for that. Cute athletic fit. Great for play in pool or lake.

In my normal clothes and bathing suits, I am usually a size 8. In Speedo suits, I am usually a 12! So I bought a 12, based on the reviews telling everyone to go up two sizes. Even then, I was worried that it might be a little small.Unfortunately, a 12 is HUGE on me! If you size up for Speedos like I do, maybe size down on this one.I wanted to order the black in a 10, but the price difference is crazy! So I'm getting the purple one.

These suits definitely run small. I had to return the 6 and get an 8 when I wear a 4 in clothing. That said, I love the way the suit looks on me but the design of the top causes drag when you swim laps. Perhaps the top is a bit too large (even with the straps clipped together in back) but I'm not small chested, so I think it's a bit of a design flaw. Either way I wear it regularly to the pool and beach, and it's flattering.

I got this because I need a suit that wouldn't fall off in the ocean when I'm holding my squirming 2 or 5 year old son. Works great. I did, after reading the other reviews about it fitting slightly smaller, and got an 8 rather than a 6. I just fit a 6 usually in most pants and clothing but felt very comfortable in an 8 for this suit -- no muffin top or unsightly bulges around my top.

I love the suit but the top was not full adjustable. I had to by an XL to fit on the bottom but the top straps were way to long. I had to have them shortened at the dry cleaners. Just a poor design for adjustability on the top.
