I have been using your product for the last couple of years. I like to use it both with a razor or my electric shaver daily . The only change I would love to see is a flip-top lid instead of the screw off cap.

This shave gel is not a gel it’s more like water. Does not add any protection for shaving. Been shaving for more than two 60 years . Not ready for prime time.

Smells great , doesn’t really help with getting a close shave.

Just yesterday, I received this shave gel in the mail with perfect timing because I had just run out of my tube of Cremo shave cream. I've been faithfully using Cremo shave cream for several years, rotating between the Original Classic and Cooling Refreshing Mint variants, although I've also periodically experimented with other competing products such as Van Der Hagen and Cardon. I'm liking this Blackstone product: it enables a shave almost as good as Cremo or Van Der Hagen, probably about the same as Cardon, and is clear, making it easy to see skin and stubble. However, while this product may contain peppermint oil I didn't get the sense that it "cools and soothes the skin", and personally think the Cooling Refreshing Mint variant of Cremo does a far better job in this regard. That said, I also don't agree with other reviewers here who either commented about this product not having enough lubricant, or this product having a "heavy perfume smell". Blackstone has enough lubricant, and has a very light, pleasant scent.

I expected this shaving gel would help make for a smooth glide. It didn't. Honestly, I could barely tell I put anything on my skin first, it felt like shaving with just water. Also, cooling tea tree on my armpits just felt weird especially in a hot shower. This one was not for me.

Don’t like gel as much as cream. Need a lot to cover

I’ve stuck with Edge shaving gel and a Gillette Mach 5 razor for many years. But sometimes you’ve got to try something new, and this is a very different product than Edge. It comes out of the tube as a thin liquid, so I wouldn’t quite call it a gel. I need to be careful when squeezing the stuff out of the tube not to let some of it slip between my fingers. It doesn’t lather much at all and it goes on clear. I enjoy the minty scent, it lubricates well, and I do get a close shave (better than my Edge shaving gel). I do feel it cooling my skin, and I enjoy that. And I like that this contains hyaluronic acid, which is an excellent skin moisturizer. This is a product worth trying if you’re looking for a very different type of shaving experience.

The product is labeled as a gel but is extremely watery and doesn’t work very well when using it to shave.
