Perfect!
We recently purchased a (gently used) Equinox. The fob, well, that had seen better days. This device was incredibly easy. The secondary key snapped into place as if it was made to fit the case. Buttons matched up perfectly. This case replacement is better than factory issue. You will need to apply some pressure to fasten it TIGHTLY. Don’t fret, it does snap firmly. The clear rubber “gasket” received with the new unit is only for shipping. Do not try to force it into the housing with the motherboard, it won’t fit. This took me less than one minute, literally.

Perfect, just like OEM
Everything fit perfect, silicone buttons feel great, would definitely buy again. I actually used the OEM back panel since it has the embedded 3D logo, it was a tight fit to gett the two halves together, but they snapped right together and working fine. I'm sure my 2nd key fob will need a new cover before too long. I'm bookmarking these and will definitely buy again.

Worked, no need to get a dealer to program
I had the issue where the front face rubber on my remote had tore and was coming off. I had read reviews where this item worked well if you removed the insides and swapped them to the new replacement. I struggled a bit with getting things lined up to snap together but after a few tries I got it together. Easy replacement and no need to have a dealer program if you swap the insides.

Make sure to get the same cover as the one you have already
The cover was super easy to swap with my previous cover. There were instructions, but I didn't need it. Simply open the old and new covers, take the circuit board and carefully place it between the button cushion as it was in the old cover, move the battery to the new cover, and close it.The buttons worked well from the beginning. I've had it for a few months now and the cover is still in really good shape. Very durable, and clean.Color is black and has stayed so far with zero fading
