Bought this to replace one that I had lost , found the old one just days after this arrived so now have a spare . This seems robust enough so I am sure it will last as long as I want it to .

Good quality for the money but can work loose when using , need to check the chuck tightness regularly

Very stiff in tightening and releasing to grap the taps, not that it mattered as the Jaws didn't open enough for the largest tap or close enough for the smallest. I tried the m4 tap and found the size wasn't true. An m4 screw barely touched the cut threads.

The tap quality is ok, however the holder is useless! It simply can’t hold the tap tight enough so just spins around it. I used the tap in a power drill instead which worked well if operated really slowly. At least the drill chuck could actually grip the bits properly.

The product description stated ratchet wrench but the design is fixed. The taps are fine and the wrench grips the square ends of the taps well. The tommy bar is a little difficult to use, it does not have a central groove or detaunt sprung loaded ball. I returned the product as I wanted a ratchet wrench, the return process went really well.

Do NOT buy this product!! It is an absolute piece of Chinese-made junk purporting to have some kind of German-sounding engineering product name ! Far from it.(a)it falsely claims to be a ratchet tap-wrench when there is no ratchet. (b)what a job I had tapping a 4mm test hole in a socket outlet backbox as the so-called T-handle kept dropping out every half turn. (c)then the knurled locking jaw would not undo to remove the tap. Had to use a pair of grips to undo. Keep away!
