I have a niggly sore point in my shoulder blade that loves to flare up occasionally. My cousin, who is a Pilates instructor, recommended I get one of these and I must say it’s a life saver. Whenever I have a flare up I just lean against the wall and roll the ball around on the sore point - it’s great for relieving the pain and is like a mini massage

I'll come out & say that I originally ordered this for a purpose it wasn't designed for but decided to go with what it's advertised for. I was going to use it as a stopper ball in my pour over coffee carafe as the size would have been perfect for the glass pouring/filter funnel & the cork aesthetic would have looked good.But I decided to go the route its meant for as I often wake up with severe cramp in my feet & lower legs. So I've taken to keeping the "𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙋𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙮, 𝘿𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙏𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚 & 𝙈𝙮𝙤𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚, 7ᶜᵐ 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙡, 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡, 𝙎𝙠𝙞𝙣 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡" from "𝙁𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙙" in the bedside cabinet drawer where its handy for early morning relief.The cork used in the production of cork comes from Europe; where around 85% of the Worlds cork comes from. This is seemingly a highly renewable resource as many wine producers no longer use it to stopper their bottles. Cork has a nice tactile feel against the skin & the 7ᶜᵐ ball has the correct amount of surface contact depending on how hard you push it.It can be used for massaging yourself or others but I've been using it by laying it on the floor & rolling the sole of my foot over it. It relieves the pain & muscle tension of the cramp pretty quickly & leaves my feet & legs feeling relaxed & supple.The ball is small & light enough that it could easily be slipped in a bag if heading off somewhere over night so you don't have to be without it. I've always carried some sort of little ball with me when travelling. Usually a squash or tennis ball. Their handy for pain relief, but also to alleviate boredom as you've something to play with. They can also be a handy distraction for wild/feral dogs in other countries, just throw the ball & make a sharp exit while they chase it. smaller balls can also be used as sink plugs in countries without them as they'll fit any sink size, though as this is made of cork I think it'll float rather than block the sink.It's also noiseless unlike my rechargeable massager so I don't have to worry about waking my partner up. I was surprised at how inexpensive the cork ball was at only £5.99, a bit of a bargain.

I've tried a few of these massage balls, some of which have been great, but this one isn't for me. My trigger points are in my pelvis and gluteal muscles and this is just too hard and unforgiving to be pleasant using it there. I have another type of "massage ball" which is much more useful. Hence, this MAY work for you (depending upon where you are trying to treat) but it's not for me - hence 3 stars.

Light weight, solid plastic ball coated in a thin layer of cork. Got for hiking and is light enough to carry whilst on trail.

Better than foam rollers. Perfect control of the ball, easily adjust pressure. Also bought a bigger one. Feel amazing after using it for 10 mins on sore muscles.
