SuncastAdd-On Wire Shelving for BMS1250 and BMS2000 Vertical Storage Sheds, Black

This shelf is the perfect, easy add on for the Suncast Bms2000 tool shed. I slid it into the top location, no prob. It comes with the clips and screws which fit into the recessed interior areas, making it very stable. This is great for small tools, gloves, etc.

Purchased the vertical storage shed from Suncast, which I am very pleased with, aside from it not coming with shelving. My bad for missing that in the description. Located the supported shelving units and ordered 2. The description was powder coated wire shelving with a 30 lb. storage capacity. The cost was approximately $45 each. Thought that was high but didn’t find any other shelving units that I thought would easily fit without carpentry skills, which I do not possess at 64. The shelves arrived today and to my surprise, they are nothing but molded plastic. I called Suncast and was told they discontinued the wire shelves some time ago. The molded plastic shelves are all they had but since I purchased from Amazon, take my issue up with them. I’m beyond frustrated in trying to locate a number to call Amazon Customer Service. I have no choice but to keep the shelves since they are the only ones that fit but feel completely ripped off on the price! Be aware before buying the shed.Update: the cost of the shelving was refunded in full. Stars amended from 1 up to 5 for customer service. Thank you.

Holds up to 30 lbs per shelf weight limit but appears could hold more weight but not chancing that thought. Black color...very sturdy..all hardware and extra included. Very simple install. Adds extra stability support to the unit walls (BMS 1250 Suncast vertical shed). Buying 2 more shelves.

We purchased a Suncast vertical storage shed so that we could squirrel away most of our gardening products on our covered and screened in porch and wanted something that looked nice. The shed fit the bill nicely but we wanted this shelf to add extra storage space. The shelf itself is just fine. The biggest problem is you are provided with these really cheap and flimsy plastic clips in order to secure it to the inside of the storage unit. We installed it without any problems; however, I don't have much hope that the plastic clips are going to hold up for that long. We shall see. . .

It is sturdy and easy to install. Fit perfectly.

This shelving was listed on AMAZON as “Frequently Bought Together” with the BMS 1500.I quickly clicked the button, ordered two and only later, AFTER ASSEMBLING THE SHED, realized THE SHELVING DIDN’T FIT THE BMS1500. You can’t buy shelving for the BMS1500 MODEL; you have to FABRICATE YOUR OWN FROM WOOD!!!!! I called SUNCAST and, NOPE. Make your own or do without.Now I’m stuck with an expensive shed that’s virtually useless. VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED in AMAZON for showing shelves in FREQUENTLY BOUGHT TOGETHER and SUNCAST.

I have several Suncast storage boxes so I knew the quality of this shed would be good. It is very sturdy and attractive. I was hesitant to buy it because I am a small 70-year-old woman and I planned to put it together by myself. It took me about 20 minutes and I used 2 garbage can to hold the sides upright as I fitted in the other parts. I leaned it back against the house and pushed it against the wall to slide the roof into place. The hardest part was figuring out how the hinge cover fit over the hinges - the illustration wasn't much help - once I figured out how to position them they snapped right into place. I bought 3 shelves and it took me a while to figure out that you have to drill open the "holes" in the back and sides of the shed to put screws into the plastic tabs that hold the shelves into place. The shed door handles have holes so you can use a lock if you want. I am very happy with this purchase.

Works great in my new shed and helps to add stoarge space and I can still put in tall tools int the front portion of the shed since the shelf does not come all the way to the doors.
