3-Pack Orbit H2O-Six® Gear-Drive Sprinkler

The many adjustments work great. I use them because I can select a fine mist for flowers and a harder spray for grass. The only problem I have is that they don't last very long. I have a very large yard and have sprinklers running 24 hours a day during the summer. I get about 2 months out of these before the gear drive quits working.

I used 7 of these oscillating sprinklers in my sprinkling system because they were easy to set up and had a lot of options for spraying patterns. However, after one season, 2 of them stopped oscillating and I had to replace them! That's a 29% failure rate! If any more fail, I guess I'd switch them all out for the pulsating type, which I really don't like because of the noise. But I've never had one fail in the 50 years I've used them.

I have yet to use them. It has been raining here on and off. But I already had one and truly like how it works. And they did not come with a base . So now I need to order bases. Thank you

I purchased 5 of these after ready reviews on how well it works. They all started out fine and working as advertised. Then, one by one, the heads quit rotating. I never crossed the adjusters. There is no way to see if there is an issue with the mechanical drive to see what May be wrong. I liked the control of the water stream/spray, but it is back to the old but reliable, oscillating sprinkler head.

My lawn people whacked the crap out of these sprinkler heads and having the option to retain the existing spikes and just replace the unit itself was appreciated. I'll have to slap my lawn guys in the head if they screw these up too.
