They left out a very important detail from the instructions. There are two large foam circles, one on top and one on the bottom. The one on the top is obviously to protect the solar panel and also to protect the little stem that sticks out the top; you have to take that circle off in order for everything to work. The foam circle on the bottom seemed to be to protect the pump and stuff on the bottom, so we took it off also. Then we attached a spray head and set the whole thing down in the water. And it sank like a rock! Turns out the foam circle on the bottom makes the whole thing float! So there are two foam circles, one on top and one on the bottom, one you have to take off and one you have to leave on, and, as far as I can see, the instructions don't mention either one of them.Anyway, as far as how it works, it's great! We've only used one spray head because it's the only one we're interested in, because it's perfect for our tiny pre-formed pond. In the morning the pond is in dappled shade and the fountain works fine; in the afternoon it's in full sun and the fountain works even better; the more light that hits the solar panel, the more water it sprays, but it definitely does NOT have to be in full sun. When a cloud covers the sun and the whole yard is in shade, it still works a little bit, in spurts.We just got it so I have no idea how long it will last or anything else, but for now it works great. (As long as it has the foam circle on the bottom!)

LOVE this solar fountain! It has multiple fountain options, but I only wanted the bubbler option, as shown in the pics. It is so strong, that in direct sunlight it "bubbles" about 6" high! At first I thought this was too high--especially when the planter is filled with water to the brim...but when it became apparent that water is splashed out of the 10" wide planter during use, and the fountain ends up floating at a lower water level, the top of the "bubbler" still could be seen from a distance--which was perfect! I do use the 3 extending arms to center the fountain in the planter. They are extended under the lip of the planter rim and need no further adjustments--no matter how high or low the level of water in the planter. The fountain will "bubble" slower and at a lower height in indirect sunlight, such as on a cloudy day, or in the shade on a sunny part of the day (as sun goes down AND in shade it will not work). It stops without enough sunlight. Since the fountain/water is calm and still overnight, I'm using Mosquito Dunks as a mosquito larvicide, especially since safe for any wildlife that might drink the water. My garden is a major work in process, and it is so nice to work and hear the trickle of the fountain. The materials seem quality made. I would definitely buy this solar fountain again, and highly recommend.

I purchased this to go with a bird bath/water stand. It works well and shoots out water and doesn't seem to scare the birds at all. I particularly like the spinning attachment, but that seems to intermittently work. I haven't done it yet, but I think that if I glue a penny at the center of the spinner it should fix the issue.This is completely solar powered without any battery backup, so it turns off when you walk by or a bird perches with the sun behind it. Although a small battery to keep it going would be nice, it was also fun to watch the bird duck for a drink and have it start spraying, then stand up and stop the spray. I think I was more amused than the bird was confused.

Love it. The multifunctional spouts give you so many options and they now add side spikes that center the fountain, which is a new feature I love. Buy it! I have a huge flower pot filled with water that I turned into a fountain, with synthetic water lillies and it looks so pretty.

This is the second solar fountain I have bought from this company, the first one still works well after 2 years but when I saw this one with the arms to keep it centered in my birdbath I knew I had to get it. I was limited on which spray caps I could use with the old one because it wouldn't stay centered even with rocks placed around it and the water sprayed out too fast. This one stays centered even with birds splashing around and I love that I can move the solar panel to catch the sun due to the long cord. I hope this one lasts as well as the other and will update this review with any details. Good job Aisitin!Update August 3,2022: this solar fountain was delivered and set up on May 20, 2022 this morning it was working as soon as the sun hit it as usual. I ran some errands and when I got home an hour later it was not working. checked the filter but it was not clogged, I clean it out weekly. very disappointedUpdate 8/6/22 : After I took it out of the water to check the filter I laid it on the ground next to the bowl and left it there overnight. The next morning I went out to pick it up and could feel the pump running so I put it back into the bowl and it has been working again for 2 days. I will continue to monitor it for any future failures. Darn thing had a hiccup or something! I was impressed with the seller who sent a message promptly about the issue (that is currently not an issue, lol). Kudos to them!Update 8/22/22 : well it just stopped working again, This time I again took it out of the bowl, cleane it and waited overnight then checked the next morning but it did not start working again. It"s been over a week now but I think it's really dead this time

Great little solar fountain. Bought for my wife last year and it’s still going strong. Works great with lots of different heads that easily change out for different looks. Birds love their bird bath, sometimes the birds stand on the fountain and use it like a shower🤪. Wife loves it! Would buy again.

Exactly as expected. Works well but I should have used a larger pot at the bottom of the Planter. The water shoots up pretty high and goes around the ground on my pot
