Keeps Thickening Pomade for Men, Travel Size, 3 Oz

I've been using Keeps Thickening Pomade regularly, and it's become one of my go-to styling products. Since I have a receding hairline, I wanted something that would add texture and make my hair look a little fuller without feeling heavy or greasy. This pomade does exactly that. It provides a natural matte finish with enough hold to keep my hair in place while still looking natural. A little goes a long way, and it washes out easily at the end of the day. I also like that it's made with biotin and doesn't contain ethanol or propylene glycol. The travel-size container is convenient to toss in a gym bag or suitcase. If you're dealing with thinning hair or a receding hairline and want a styling product that helps create the appearance of thicker hair, this is definitely worth trying.

This pomade delivers a nice medium hold with a matte finish—it didn’t leave my hair greasy or stiff. Definitely thicker-looking hair, thanks to ingredients like biotin, caffeine, green tea, and saw palmetto. It’s simple to apply: warm a bit between your palms, work into dry or damp hair, and style. My thinning spots looked fuller without noticeable buildup or residue. I do feel the cost is to high given the size of the container. But the product quality is good. Only thing to note: if you apply a heavy hand, it can feel a bit tacky. A dime-sized amount was plenty. It is easy to wash from my hands and hair. Rating: 4.5/5 – Great styling product that adds subtle volume and pairs well with a thicker hair routine.

It does give hair a thicker look as advertised, mostly by giving it some hold and the ability to stand up instead of lying flat, especially if you have straight hair. It’s not greasy, dries almost immediately, and has almost no smell (contrary to some reviews). In my experience, it’s natural “science-backed ingredients”—saw palmetto, green tea, caffeine—don’t do anything for hair growth and it’s not clear they do anything to prevent further loss either, but it doesn’t advertise it does anything other than giving hair a thicker look, hence the five stars for “works as advertised”. The ingredients are to my knowledge “scientifically suspected “ to have some effect. For just the thickening function, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but I also need to only use a tiny bit each time, so it lasts a good year for me with daily-once use. Applying more doesn’t seem to do anything more useful.

This really is amazing and a little goes a LONG way. It’s really fluffy looking, almost like whipped cream when you open it, but of course mostly solid. It provides dramatic lift for your hair and helps the look of thinning hair. I like how it is so easy to style and doesn’t have a chemical smell the other things have. As for instilling nutrients to encourage hair growth is still debatable but I use Rogaine foam and it is working and also I use that by itself a lot of the time. This stuff is very slippery so make sure you have soap right next to it. Hope it helps you.

Great product for holding hair in place for short duration, but my hair felt greasy throughout the day and required a second application to maintain my hairstyle (thin and medium length).

I have fine hair, this really helps my hair look thicker. My new go to.

The fragrance is overpowering and it is not more effective than a $5 product.
