I run marathons in these things. but don't get overcharged, see edit
Four years ago I was a casual 2 mile jogger.I had no expectations or even desire to be a marathon runner. Then I read the book Peak and I discovered way too late in life, that no one is born talented and gifted they all worked for it. So one of my strategies is what I call stacking micro advantages . ( it’s not in the book It’s just inspired by the book) . Some things in my stack are huge like going on a real food organic vegan diet and eliminating dairy completely.Somethings are small like these insoles or the socks I wear or the shoelaces. That’s part of my micro advantage stack. But it’s a very important one . I am planning to run a Boston marathon qualifying time in a few weeks and I know that every second matters. These insoles Will be a part of me stacking every possible advantage in my favor.Update Oct.2021I have qualified for the Boston Marathon several times in these , ran 3 marathons in 3 weeks time, I won't run a marathon or even train without them. They are the first and easiest modification I do in every running shoe. I am now over 60. My joints feel great, never feel pain any more. Of course giving up inflammatory food like dairy and dead animals and all processed oil food, (including organic oils) is just as important, but these sure help. I am planning to run a full 26.2 marathon in a few weeks and then go to work at a retail job the same day and finish my shift on my feet. Yes I love them.Edit 4th of July 2022 I originally paid around $10 for these on Amazon. A great value at that price But now I see them being sold at over $20 for a pair. Ridiculous overcharge. I bought 2 pairs directly from Dr Scholls for around $11 per pair a few days ago. Still love the product but I'm not willing to be excessively over charged..

The best shoe insert , EVER !
I've tried every insert know to exist . This is the very best insert made . Incredible design . I'm on my feet all day long . I'm 65 years old . My feet never over heat , never sore , never sweat & always always ready for more work the following day . I know for a fact that I wouldn't be able to do half of the work I do w/out these inserts . I will always buy this type of inserts & highly recommend them .

these work well
These inserts provide comfortable cushioning and keep my feet dry. They work best in a hiking boot. I found they were too thick for the walking shoe I wear.

Still get sweaty but at least it is cushioned
I used the regular Dr. Scholl odor-x insoles for my boots, but they didn't provide enough cushioning and my feet and knees started to feel the pain. These vented insoles have a similar carbon/baking soda mix to reduce odors, but also have vents. It is from my experience that the vents aren't all that useful unless you are walking around in a ventilated environment. If you are sitting in an office, or working from inside a vehicle, the vents won't do you much good. The reason I mention this is that for those in law enforcement or military, these insoles are very comfortable but they will not magically cool off your feet unless you are moving around. I still take off my boots mid-shift if there's a chance for a break, just to air out my feet/socks a little.I'm eager to see how much odor these insoles can eat before they have to be washed or thrown away.

Ehhh, you can do better.
I’ve had insoles before for my smelly feet, but this might be the most uncomfortable/time consuming ones I’ve bought. So they work? Absolutely. No scent from my feet. Are they hard to put into shoes? Absolutely. The rubber part from beneath makes it extremely time consuming to remove and add into shoes. I like to transfer these insoles from one shoe to another while using, and the process honestly takes me about 5-10 minutes. The runner makes it difficult to remove from the shoe and insert to the other. Your constantly having to fold it in half, push it in, remove it again, try again. It’s like, “okay, this is annoying.”To add to the difficultness (yes I made that word up), the Insoles are thick! So once you’ve tackled the obstacle of actually inserting the insole, your shoes fit you extra tight. If you don’t tie your shoes extra tight, then your shoe feels like they’re falling off every step.My suggestion, stay away. You can find better dr. Scholls inserts. These sucks. But at least my feet don’t stink. So... yeah

These work great. Update
I've tried them all, these are the best, but hard to get. Update: I, like I said have tried all the other memory foam, gel, activated charcoal, plastic, rubber, regular foam etc., shoe inserts. The gel type inserts look and feel nice but when I wear them they compact a little and feel like a hard piece of cardboard, which I never expected. The others just compress down to nothing. These have the holes in and allow the insert to move and feel "squishy" . I have 10 or more pairs of these and have signed up for auto delivery to geta pair every 2 months. I'm 61 year old male 6' tall and 271 lbs, and these continue to feel good in my shoes. Inserts take up foot space inside your shoe, I recommend buying shoes 1/2 size bigger, then your shoes will not be too tight.

Good price for great comfort!
So comfortable... awesome in my non insulated summer muck boots. I work in tall grass and mucky environments. I put these in my tall muckers and wow! Put in a good 6 hours today in 80 degree weather and I have to say that this is the best my feet have felt after kicking off the boots! I always wear a thin, tall, antimicrobial, dri-wick sock so I don’t have issues with sweat and not sure it’s fair to comment on the cooling factor but the comfort and energy factor, 👍🏼 👍🏼. I’ll update if things change but half day 1... I’m loving them!

Not cheap but worth it.
These are more expensive than other insoles, but for those who need cooling insoles they are well worth the money.

Very comfortable & dry feet - heel part sits too high!
Got two pairs of these about two weeks ago and have placed them in my shoes:PROS: Very comfortable; my feet definitely stay drier than before; walking long distances is a pleasure with them.CONS: Not suitable for shoes with low / short back sides, as the feet tend to pop out of the shoes when one walks; pricey.
