I saw a video review on this & decided to try it. I like the lemon scent. I feel like I'm using more than anticipated, but I was able to buy a huge refill bottle, so that's fine. I do use the tin to clean brushes, but I don't necessarily feel like it adds much to the deal. I always sanitize it when I'm done & store it dry, so I haven't had any issues with the finish. Overall this does a great job cleaning makeup brushes and I'm happy with the results. The brushes do dry pretty quickly, so there is definitely an advantage to using this over a natural dishwashing liquid or shampoo if you don't want to wait for your brushes to dry out.

Recently, I started wearing makeup after a 5 year break. I had to replace the makeup, naturally. But was hoping to use my old brushes at least until I could replace them later. I purchased this to clean them, because, well, I'm lazy when it does come to cleaning my brushes. I had always washed them weekly with soap and water, but they were still obviously used and had some residue. Now, I went through the 2 oz bottle cleaning these old brushes. It was totally worth it though because the nicer quality ones look brand new. I love how easy the product is to use. There is a lemon smell, but I don't find it too strong. I have since purchased a larger bottle and the spray. I use the spray daily, and the liquid weekly.

I have a lot of makeup brushes. Well let me say this took me no time at all to do them. They, came so clean with little effort. Pic above is before and after. I cleaned them while watching a show, used paper towel in a tub. Will be buying more
