I got these string lights for my balcony to spruce it up a little. It's a pack of 2 - 33 ft long (each) string light. They are very fine string that is like a metal wire with small light every 4 inch or so. The wire is stiff enough that it would hold it shape when bent. The light is very small, I thought it was going to be bigger. But you can see my picture to get an idea of the size.The light is by default on turn on when it's dark outside. So when your'e working outside installing, make sure you cover the solar panel completely (where the light sensor is) to turn it on, if not it won't light up no matter how many times you press the on/off button. I wish they made this clear on the manual. The mode button cycles between the different modes they have (always on, blinking, etc).The cycles are:1. Combination (cycles through all the different modes)2. Fireflies Flashing3. Waves4. Fading5. Chasing/Flashing6. Fading slowly7. Twinkle/flashing8. Steady onSo far so good, as long as you know what you're expecting.
