Helpful, handy and practical BUT the watch charging is fiddly and a bit hit and miss. Very easy to detach or not attach properly so I’d suggest putting the watch on the charger and strapping it tight as though it were a wrist.

If you have a history of your Apple Watch not lasting the day or having occasional power shortages with your iPhone this is for you. it is a well made and smart looking charger which has a normal dished plate on the side to charge a watch with the extra of a cable to charge a phone.It does its job well but. couple of points which, for me, lose it a star. The first one is that the loop which looks like it is there for carrying is actually the phone charging cable. The plug is recessed in the side of the housing and when it is pulled out (and it is quite stiff) it takes cable from the loop. I may be wrong but it look to me like a good way to damage the cable.The second point relates to charging the watch and this may not be a charger problem but something about the watch. It definitely works but I have found d a number of chargers with my Series 7 watch result in the watch charging for a while and then the watch turns on with a ping showing the passcode screen. Then after a while it charges again and after a while pings again etc etc. Googling the problem shows that it is not uncommon so maybe not totally the fault of the charger but I tried it on the bedside table in a hotel and the pinging every few minutes was a nuisance.This is not something to use for every charge as if you have the power to recharge this its easier to charge the watch directly but a useful item for travel covering power short fall on either phone or watch.

The size of the powerbank is ideal for my bag that has limited space. It can charge my iphone twice. I love that the lightning cable is already attached and also acts as a sling. Would definitely recommend this!!

This is a small, solid unit in a matt finish, which feels good quality, and comes with a storage pouch. It works well, and charges quickly. There is a small LED charge status light to tell you the charging progress. It’s an elegant solution, and a useful boost, as an Apple Watch battery tends to get a bit tired after a year or so and this is a great way to top it up.The trouble is that it’s an over-engineered solution that isn’t cheap. The one real advantage is the portability of having it all in one unit; otherwise you could just as well buy a watch charging cable and use that with a smaller cheaper power bank.
