This light strip was easy to install and flexible for all the bending to fit in my mini bar. The best part about this lighting strip is the MANY color options and the ability to create my own colors. I created a peachy pink/ salmon color. This is also compatible with my Alexa app, so I can manage the lighting with either the remote or my Echo.

I have 2 of these light kits in place in our kitchen, What appealed the most to me was the ability to be able to control via Alexa (have to use Smart Things skill linked to your Do Tint app that controls the LED strips) I finally figured that out after poking around the Do Tint app.The lights themselves were easy to install and connect to the Do Tint app. The app is pretty decent from a control standpoint. I used the power from an outlet above the upper cabinets, and one in the same cabinet the microwave is plugged in. The pictures show the controllers mounted in the cabinet. The other picture is a panoramic view of the lights installed under the upper cabinets. I have seen complaints about the brightness, but ours seem to be fine. We use a combination of white and orange set to 100% and it provides great light for the kitchen counters. If you select one, solid color, like red, they are not that bright. But, that is to be expected.The only CON I see is the remote. You do need to be right on the corded power controller to have it work.Overall, I really like these for the price point.

The media could not be loaded.  I like that they are controllable via Alexa and they do the job that I wanted which was to highlight the drum and the edge of the bookcase.They do get very bright and I have now dimmed them almost to the maximum.It does take an evening, if you are like me, to get the job done properly. Part of that was just going through the app trying different scenes and making my own.I should note that these are not individually addressable LEDs and therefore the entire strip will always be whatever color you want and rotate through them if you want, but it will not have colors chasing each other down the strip.

These lights want you to download a Chinese app that tracks location. The app is highly suspicious for anyone with any sort of a brain and realizes Chinese tech companies have been flagged by US intelligence as malicious in nature. I bought the lights with the intention of connecting them to my home Alexa system for ease of operation. Not to include a suspicious app download on my phone for the Communist Chinese to spy on me and my cell communications etc. These lights are also not Alexa capable. What a joke. Download our app and then get watched by the Chinese or whoever they sell your home security to. Absolutely not happy.

This is a nice lighting kit. It works really great on shelves, and definitely changes. The ambience of whatever is displayed on the shelf and the room in general. I definitely like that this kit was made for shelves and cabinets as the regular continuous strips of LEDs can be a hassle to install.

It would be better if it came with connections that you could use to run the lights in more directions. Brights ness is awesome, and the adehesive is really strong
