ULANZI F38 Quick Release Plate Base with 1/4" 3/8" Screw Thread

Satisfied purchase for my upcoming travel. I learned it hard way last trip overseas that this piece would make my life easier swapping my camera between sling and tripod. I have quick release kit https://a.co/d/037VFNYm and wasn’t sure this would work but it does. Please see my pictures for the setup.

This is my new favorite quick release plate for my camera system. The f38 quick release plate is very versatile. Recently, I have been using it in addition to my Manfrotto 501PL plates. Now I can swap through different tripods, monopods and gimbals very quickly the F 38 plate has a locking mechanism on the front which secure the camera without the plate falling off they do sell additional plates which fits many types of cameras equipment, such as they Rodin DJIRS3. The quality seems very good and it looks like it’s been machine out of high-quality aluminum parts. The hardware looks very solid and has a nice black coating on top. I would highly recommend to give it a try as it really speed up my workflow moving from cameras to tripod to gimbal.

I have several of these quick releases on my YouTube camera rig setup. They make it easy to set the rig up and break it down for travel. Although they are a little expensive, they're very high quality and I've purchased several. They are worth it.

I love this quick release it was litterally the best investment .. I live stream and am a photographer and it’s made so easy to swap cameras to another mount for my YouTube videos then to my other Setups for streaming or my second YouTube Chanel it’s amazing!

This clip is fantastic. It does NOT use the same plate as peak design, even though it looks identical. It is about 1mm smaller. There is, however, a plate that is “2 sided” available, which makes it compatible. Peak design 1 way, and f38 the other. Despite this incompatibility, I love it. Minimalistic and secure. Light. Simple.

This system is great. The FALCAM F38 Quick Release system allows you to have one system across all your mounting gear. I use it for my gimbal, camera cage, tripod, as well as my GoPro devices. They are small, light and secure. Initially bought one quickly system and then quickly but enough so that all my cameras can be mounted with the same mounting plate.

Muy buen articulo, el ajuste es bueno, si los usas con un soporte que tenga el sistema Arca Swiss funciona perfectamente, pero si lo colocas con la rocas de 1/4" en algunas situacionas la pieza rota, en ese caso recomendaria comprar el modelo V2, solo por eso no le dos las 5 estrellas. pero el sistema es exelente, tengo el clic para montaje en morral y es muy facil pasar de llevarlo colgado en el morral o el cinturon a colocarlo en el tripode.

Love em. Version 2 works just as nice as Version 3. Grab a bunch, put them where you need. You will be glad you did.

Good product, BUT unfortunately is not compatible with PeakDesign plate.

It's very good quality, on par with best in the industry.

The product quality is good and the price less expensive.

I am a bit new to photography equipment but I can tell this is a well made product. I was a bit surprised at first when the release plate did not slide into the base mount as effortlessly as shown in demo video but I understand that the tolerances are very high to ensure a sturdy fit which means that this may take a bit of fineness and getting used to. Also, the release buttons sometimes take a bit of effort and there may be some user error but probably not because I've tried different clips and this issue seems to occur when I'm holding the base mount on angles other than parallel to ground which means gravity comes into play when releasing the release plate. In any case, I still love this design for my workflow and wanted to share this experience with others because I did not find this information anywhere at the time of purchase.
