This microwave is excellent. The fan is super strong, the stove light is decent, and it heats food very fast. For the price and the 2-year warranty, you really can't beat it. ​Important Sizing Note: Make sure your opening is at least 30 inches wide. This unit is a full 30 inches, not 29 1/2 like some other brands. ​Installation Tips (The "Cushion Method"): I removed my old unit and installed this one in under an hour, mostly by myself. Here is how to do it safely: ​Prep: Place a trash bag over your stove (ensure pilot lights are out!) and stack couch cushions or pillows on top. ​Venting: Before mounting, move the internal blower fan if you aren't venting outside, and attach the covers. ​The Template: I found it easier to flip the top template over and drill from the inside of the cabinet down. Note: I had to trim about 3/4" off the template and clip the corners to make it lie flat inside the cabinet. ​Mounting: Place the microwave on the cushion stack (it should be about 6 inches lower than the mount). Tilt the back up to catch the wall bracket (this was the only part I needed help with). ​Securing: Use the pillows to push the front of the microwave up while you align the top bolts. Tighten one halfway, then the other, then secure both. Verdict: Easy peasy installation if you use the pillows to save your back. Highly recommended!

I'm giving the microwave oven five stars because it's what I ordered, what I expected, and, after installation, works as expected. Delivery was another story. The item arrived a day earlier than expected and the FedEx driver dumped the thing on the curb and went on his way on a rainy day. I happened to pass by a window and saw this large box at the end of my driveway (did I mention "rainy day"?). I'm 90 years old and not as spry as I once was and wrestling a bulky 70lb box from the street to my garage in wet conditions is not my preferred entertainment. The outer box was a bit worse for wear, but the microwave wasn't damaged.

Purchased April 2024. After about 18 months, the microwave failed with a flash, burnt plastic smell, and would no longer heat. After reading other reviews, this appears to be a common failure of this model (JVM7195SKSS). However, the seller advertised a 2-year CPS protection plan which is one of the reasons I went with this unit. I went through the process of contacting the seller to initiate warranty repair. The process was not straightforward and required careful documentation but CPS did ultimately authorize GE Factory Service. The technician replaced the magnetron, high-voltage capacitor, and fuse and the unit is now working again. My advice to Buyers: keep all Amazon documentation, register the product, and let CPS authorize service before contacting GE. Outcomes seem to vary depending on how closely the claims process is followed. The microwave is now working but buyers should be aware of potential reliability issues and the extra effort required if warranty service is needed.

So far this GE Microwave seems to be working perfectly. Has plenty of room inside and cool features. Hopefully this one will last much longer than my previous GE Profile microwave that I had to replace with just a few years of use.

I bought this Microwave and it lasted for 18 months before dying. Wasted over $100 for a repair guy to come out and tell me it was going to be over $400 to replace the magnetron. Called GE customer support and they said they wouldn't do anything at all for me despite that my purchase had the so-called "Premium 2 YR CPS Enchanced Protection Pack". So yeah, GE sells appliances that will break for no reason and then they won't do anything to take responsibility for the sub-par products they sell. I'll never buy GE again.

Beautiful microwave!!! exact fit for a 30". Highest CFM fan, expect some noise, not bad to me! Sound complaints? Get a 100cfm that barely blows. Cook distribution is amazing, popcorn preset is perfect. Very high quality, immediate ship, definitely would buy again, look no further folks.

This is a replacement for my 10 year old same model GE microwave. Relatively easy to install. But be advised it does not fit the old units mounting brackets or overhead fastenings. You have to remove old wall bracket and replace with new design. (easy) The holes for the overhead screws are in different location so new holes need to be drilled. Luckily the existing connection to the exhaust vents aligned up OK.
