Saw cuts nice and clean. The rollers keep you from scratching the surface. Worth the price!

Poor Quality
This saw is WAY too expensive compared to Ryobi or Flex, which are both made in China. I judge a saw by its base plate. If it cannot keep the saw blade running parallel to the base, what good is it. The cheap, stamped sheet metal base is not even flat! True, the rollers make this less of an issue, but they also prevent you from using a flat straight edge to guide your cut. Want to cut straight? Either modify the base with a new edge extending beyond the roller pins, or pay $731 for the vendor's solution...which is a complex saw guide. Want to cut close to a wall or backsplash? You already lose 1" with the bulky blade housing, so they decided to use fancy thumb knob screws for the cover plate that waste another 1/2" ! I made a trip back to store for special metric flat head screws to replace these. I trusted the Eibenstock brand, and paid to much for this tool, because their old core drills are very well made. Are they following Flex by using their good German name to sell a new line of cheaply made tools for the USA market?

It didn't work out of the box, and we made the mistake of setting it aside until we needed it so we missed our refund window.
