I'm giving this item 5 stars although the product title is a little misleading as it states "removable FLAT dish." The removable dish is NOT flat. In fact it moves around when removed from the base and my cats think it's a game as they paw at it, trying to get it to keep moving in circles. Not very funny when it's full of food as I'm trying to place it back into the base container before they spill it. Despite all that, I LOVE this dish; both the stainless steel removable part, and the base that can hold treats, dry food or even some water, especially when traveling. I LOVE this product so much that I'd like to purchase a couple more so that my cats can have one each for wet food, and another one for dry food. When I adopted my cats, one was throwing up her food quite regularly. I changed the food and also the dish. Both seem to have helped. The 1/2 cup stainless steel dish size is just perfect for cats (and probably very small dogs as well). 5 stars for size, functionality, product quality, good height for cats to eat comfortably, not to mention a nice, sleek design in beautiful colors. Also, I thought it would be noisy as my cats eat out of it, but it's nice and quiet and the base is very stable. I will purchase again! PS. I also bought some of the replacement stainless steel dishes directly from the seller as it's not sold on Amazon.

This is a great feeding dish for cats with cobby or semi-cobby faces. Helps reduce whisker fatigue and supports proper digestion. I love that I can remove the stainless steel dish for easy cleaning (wet food lifts right off), and then return it to the bowl. Bowl is a sturdy resin material - not glass - so it’s not heavy at all. Might have to buy another for her dry food!

For years we've been using elevated feeders of all kinds for our three cats. These are the best I've found so far. PROS: 1. Separable base/bowl so it's less to clean in the sink and the base remains in place so our cat sitters are sure to feed everyone in "the right spots" 2. Stainless steel bowl holds up to daily scrubbing and is safer/healthier for our cats 3. Height/angle seem to work well for cats of all sizes 4. Capacity comfortably accommodates their 2.8 oz cans 5. Unlike my previous separable bowls with less substantial bases, these don't get pushed around the room by our robot vac 6. Really nice aesthetics - clean and simple look CONS: 1. If you do leave the base behind to "load" the meals (like we do), the round-bottomed bowl wobbles and spins while you're spooning the food in; we adjusted to this pretty quickly, but you could also try placing the bowl in a stabilizing "ring" (e.g., think a roll of masking tape on its side) while spooning 2. It's a little tricky to seat the bowl properly into the base when it's 6am and the cat is frantically trying to dive into its food; you get better at it as you go along 3. Where the bowl meets the base (around all of the edges) there is a shelf or lip where errant food pieces often collect; I have to wipe the base edge down a few times a week I think it's a bit pricey for what it is, but I liked the design enough to purchase four of them, and I'm yet to find a better bowl! NOTE: We bought all the same color and used vinyl lettering (like used for car decals) to distinguish the bowls.

I use this for my 12 year old 12lb cat. I wish this was a bit taller as she has to get into an awkward crouch to eat from this. I’ll likely put in on a riser to make it more comfortable for her. It’s a very aesthetically pleasing cat bowl. She’s a messy eater, but this bowl is at such an incline where a normal portion of food with water for hydration tends to spill down easily, and sometimes by itself if I’m not careful with how much water I put in her food. I wouldn’t recommend if your priority is hydrating your cat, because there’s no much space for added water after the normal sized canned food is placed in the bowl.

I got this bowl to help with portion sizes for my cat. It is elevated and keeps all the dry food or wet food in the center of the bowl reducing whisker fatigue. It also has a bowl insert that is stainless steel so you can remove it for easy cleaning in the dishwasher. It is also pretty quiet so he’s not bothered when eating. There’s also a larger size available but I think this is great for cats!

This cat bowl is brilliantly designed and especially helpful for feeding wet food. Our cats would get their favorite foods in other bowls and would walk away when the food got pushed to the back of the bowl. This bowl makes it easy for them to eat all of their food, each time we feed them. No, it's not a good water bowl, it's not designed to be. But all of my cats are finishing all of their servings with these bowls. They are very large bowls, I thought they would be smaller. Can not recommend them highly enough. Great for whisker fatigue too. I've bought so many cat food bowls through the years but I'll never change from this bowl. Absolutely love the design! Worth every penny!

It seems to be sturdy. I won’t return it but I should have realized I can’t put the bowl in the microwave to warm up the food for my cat’s second feeding. Also, I could really do without the logo on the bowl. If you must, put it somewhere less intrusive - like the bottom of the stand

This is a stylish and very high quality food bowl! Our two girls seamlessly switched and the height, elevation seems to help them keep their food down well and the stainless got rid of some chin pimples in our youngest. These bowls are high quality and come very recommended.

Our maine coon is a very sloppy eater, very much like a dog who can't get to all his food on the edges and who flips and pushes his bowl. I've been shopping for a food bowl for a while and this one fixes everything while really being at the optimal angle to avoid joint stress while being elevated enough for the food to go down past their throat easily to avoid regurgiration and the 0.5 option also avoids whisker fatigue for kitties. The bottom is non-slip and my maine coon actually has been eating slower with this and is less frantic. The look of it is also the sleekest and nicest on the market. Just bear in mind cats see colors of blue and yellow better if that's important to you as an owner. Easy to clean and stainless steel so this will not cause feline acne either. It also locks elegantly with a simple indent on the side so there's no spinning. I will be purchasing it in another color for my other cat and their website actually has a bundle with both bowl options, the 1.5 and 0.5 with one base. This can be also be a great water bowl.

Kein billiges, dünnes Plastik. Ist wirklich recht schwer und von guter Qualität für die man gerne ein paar Euro ausgibt. Ich zumindest.....
