Water Sports Sand-Off - Beach Sand Cleaner - Sand Wipe Off Mitt, Multi-Color

This is a great idea. But after getting it and actually seeing what it is, a dish rag and baby powder would have worked the same.

We live in a beach community so sand in our car is kind of a fact of life here. However I've been on the lookout to minimize the amount that my family tracks in. I used to use a bottle of baby powder and it helped, but made an even bigger mess.These gloves have been so helpful because the talcum powder they use is much finer and rubs off easier. The mitt is a good delivery method (and easier than shaking a giant bottle of powder at your legs). Because it is srubbing sand off your body we've found it's best to slap at your legs with the mitt to distribute the powder and then try to brush it off. If you try to rub the sand straight off you might get more exfoliation than you'd like :) I've already bought this item twice and would buy them again if they ran out of powder.

This is my second one. The first one lasted 7 years and I couldn’t have been happier. Cleans the kiddos off really fast and you don’t have to stand in the community shower area to wash off. Keep them dry, use the mitt, and off you go. The baby powder is key to this working.

Discouraged to use this because it has several black hairs on it. Sincerely hoping it has not been used. Note: product is only good for 40 uses per the backside's packaging.

We live at the beach in the summer and I had been using a homemade Powder puff and it just didn't work. The price of this was great and I am so mad I didn't order this earlier!! It works amazing. The sand slides right off and its a great value for the money with its multiple uses! I recommend and will buy again!

We are frequent beach-goers, and this “mitt” is amazing. Gets every last grain of sand off our feet so we don’t bring the beach home with us! It would be ideal if it had a zippered edge so we could refill it with corn starch or baby powder ourselves. Still, it lasts for many, many trips to the beach.

This is better than nothing. I used it on a 2 week beach vacation and you really have to slap the powder out of it onto your skin. I like it as an alternative to putting super sandy kids in the car, or soaking wet kids in the car if you use a hose to spray the sand off. You definitely have to remember to let it dry out before you attempt to use it again - that's usually the challenge - leaving it out of the beach bag somewhere to dry. If you have to drive to and from a beach and your anal about sand and wet car seats - it's worth it (or bring a canister of baby powder).
