Used it yesterday on my ride and when it stays on and in place it works well. If not careful on where you place your foot on your pegs or your foot pedals when resting and then you go back to shift, the shield moves forward and you can’t get it under the peg. So, you are too focused on trying to get your foot under the peg you are not concentrating on the riding. Could get a bit dangerous. Thankfully, it has a snap to hold on to your shoelace (must have laces for this to work) or else it would come off and bye bye to your nice shoe protector. Improvement would be to make it less thick so as not to interfere when shifting. It’s a hard item to work with because of small area where it covers. Leather is gorgeous and it looks cool on the shoe.

Well, I liked the first one they sent me a few months back, this boot toe protector came, soft strong leather, stretched great my boot toe, did its job was great but getting a bit worn, so I hit the order again tab, few days later got a kinda similar product 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ this one that came in, ummmm, same shape but not the same at all, the jet black color of the first one has changed to a very yuck dull black almost grey, the button tab to hold protector to boot lace very very weak, for some reason they added what seems to be a hard plastic shell in-between the leather, very hard, kinda shaped funny cuzz shipped in a soft Amazon bag so it was crushed a bit, no stretch to this product, does not fit the toe of my boot like the previous one did, all and all, very very disappointing in the change of this product and the fact that they are still showing the original one I bought but instead you receive something not at all accurate to what they advertise with no heads up, so now, have to deal with the fun of shipping this product back, hey "hide&drink" get it together ! Please ! Not cool !

I purchased this boot protector to prevent black shifter marks on my coyote brown Army boots when I ride to work. It works perfectly. I wear a size 11 and cinch this down to the second belt hole, so it might be a little too small if you have very big feet. I don't walk around with it on, so I can't speak to its durability off the bike, but if you plan on just keeping it on while riding its perfect.

This would have 5 stars if it fit. The wraparound strap isn’t long enough to fasten over anything wider than a pair of sneakers. Does not fit regular width size 10 boots. The quality is great otherwise, wish I could use it.

Size is way off... I ordered a black and a brown one in size 7-11 (the largest size) & the belt wouldn't close, won't even reach the buckle. I don't know what kind of shoes they expected those to fit but definitely not riding boots, maybe mocs.I have to admit tho, the leather is really good. Too bad I just wasted a few bucks on this.

Works well to protect the toe of my boot when I ride my motorcycle. But, if you dont have shoe laces on your boot, there is not much to hold it from slipping off the front of your boot. The leather strap that goes under your boot should probably not be walked on that much. Seems iike the addition of a small rubber pad might help, but then that would make a high spot on the bottom of your foot, so maybe not. Its easy enough to slip on and off when you get on/off the motorcycle, and thats what I do. Good quality leather!

I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough holes to make it fit my narrow boots & foot, but there are. Quality is fantastic as is the color. I just learned to ride a motorcycle and I own tons of boots - just not motorcycle boots. I wear them with my Tony Lama's and the protector looks like it was custom made for them. This design is much cheaper than buying more boots! My boots are still taking some damage towards the toe, but it is minimal compared to what it would otherwise be. Again, way cheaper than new boots. When I walk around with it on, I can't tell it's there. If I were to change the design at all, I would make the top part longer to cover more of the toe box. Great value for the money.

The thingamajig looks and feels nice but doesn't fit around my boot. Even when adjusted to the largest size.Edit: I added a start. I bought new boots. It fits perfectly now.
