Great rug great price
In a studio apartment a lot of living gets done in one room. My last rug was more expensive (couldn't be much LESS expensive than this one) but it just wasn't getting clean enough from from vacuuming and the occasional carpet cleaner. I decided to just replace it to freshen the place up. This one had the right color-way and I figured - for this price it's not a huge commitment. I'm m really pleased with it. It didn't have any chemical odor and flattened nicely overnight weighted on the two corners that were rolled within.

That freaking corner!!!!!
I absolutely love the rug itself. It was just what I wanted for under my kitchen table. Unfortunately that corner will not stay down. I have tried everything. Wet it down, folded it the opposite way, put heavy books on top of it and I even took a towel and put an iron to it.I like the rug because it was not very thick and was harder to Trip on unfortunately with this corner I have to put the whole rug away when my parents come to visit cause they can’t lift their legs as high and they have stumbled on it.It’s been very durable but I guess you get what you pay for.

Pretty rug
Pros: The rug is really pretty. It’s the perfect size for my foyer. The colors are perfect for not being able to see any dirt being tracked in. I also like that the design is classic/timeless.Cons: The corners roll up and my guests kept tripping on them. I had to purchase an extra item that you stick under the corners to keep them from rolling up. Usually a rug will eventually lay flat if you give it a little time, but this one didn’t. The rug’s also very thin and moves around easy, so I also had to purchase a thick gripper pad to go under it to make it feel a little softer and to keep it in place.Overall the rug is pretty, but not functional on it’s own until you purchase the extra items to fix it’s flaws.

VELVETY SOFT AND GORGEOUS
I ordered the 8x10 in green, with the expectation it would cover the center portion of my floor, after deciding to transition from carpet to hardwood. Purchased and received within 2 days...FAST!The colors are stunning. Very classy. Cream white, slate blue and muted green is bright (not dark or dingy)The pile is low...but very soft. Does NOT feel cheap or stiff. My Bissell sweeper work great for in between vacuuming. The price is great too!Loved it so much that I decided to order the same rug in another 8×10 and the large runner. We updated or entire living room/dining room combo for roughly 225.00!I will update my review with photos when I finish paint and putting my room back together!

The Smell is Real
The smell that came from the rug was SO strong that I absolutely had to buy an ionizing air filter. The return was too difficult so I did work through the smell issue while trying to give it away. That said, I tried to put it outside in the sun (for multiple days 8 hours at a stretch), I tried baking soda and vacuuming several times, I finally broke down and put it in garage with ionizer for at least 3 days. I know this smell is common but it was difficult, so difficult that nobody would take the rug.ALL OF THAT and the smell finally went away, it looks as expected so we did end up keeping it so adding a star.

It won't lay flat.
Ugh I really want to like this rug but it's driving me crazy. I've had it for months now and it's annoying. It has never laid flat - the ends are STILL curling, even after all this time. We've tried vacuuming, laying big books on it, rolling it the opposite direction, etc. It's still curling on the ends. I'm not going to return it but it might get replaced if we can't figure out how to get it lay flat. Very disappointing.

Worth the money
It looks darker in person, colors are not quite as light as the picture. I ordered the gray which in the picture looks light gray, ivory and light brown. The rug is much darker than the actual picture shown and looks more of a blue/gray and the brown is dark not light. It’s really pretty and thick enough and I had no creases! Easy to clean Even though I wanted a lighter rug, I’m glad it ended up being darker than what I expected. It’s a high traffic area so I’m glad I kept it!

Overall the rug turned out nice, especially for the price.
Pros- Beautiful looking rug/design for the price.Cons- Extremely wrinkled after unrolling from box!!! Not a padded rug so do not have this expectation unless purchasing a pad for underneath.Solution for wrinkles: I left rug out for a few days to about a week to let wrinkles come out. You’ll likely need to set some larger and heavier objects on the rug to help flatten it out. I also used a type of carpet tape that works wonders. The rug is now completely flat and beautiful with the tape.

Reasonable quality, fantastic price! SO pleased!
I cannot believe I was able to purchase an 8' runner for under $45.00, taxes included. What a steal! I was wanting a rug for my kitchen to add some needed softness to my tile floor, and this fit the bill. I chose the grey to compliment my granite counters, and because I wanted something neutral enough to not scream for attention. I love the style these days of using colourful, Persian rugs in in the kitchen, but because mine has a small, narrow, galley layout, I was afraid a rug like that might be too overwhelming for the space. Also, this is a bit of an experiment to see just how abused the rug will get. I.may look to purchase something better quality later, but I didn't want to invest in a costly rug only for it to be quickly destroyed. The colours in this rug are quiet and neutral: grey, chocolate brown and an oatmeal-beige. I think this carpet is of perfectly decent quality (for the price) and it seems very durable. It is definitely NOT plush, which is what I wanted for my intended use, but just FYI. I would suggest the use of an underpad for both comfort and to avoid slippage. Mine arrived badly creased on one end from being tightly rolled, but laying it out with something heavy on top got rid of that for me.......Bottom line? This rug is what it is: reasonable quality for a very fair price. If plush and luxurious is what you want, then this definitely isn't the rug for you. But if affordable, durable, and reasonably stylish is what you seek, then I think you will be very pleased. I certainly am.

Not a good rug
I purchased 2 of these rugs 3 weeks ago. They arrived so tightly wrapped and 3 weeks later (despite putting weights on all ends to keep the curled up corners down) they do not sit flat on the floor. Also there is no backing and they slide around the floor. Not sure why this company doesn't get it and find a different way to package this product instead of rolling them up so tightly. I don't think these will ever lay flat. Going to return them - not worth the hassle.

beautiful little rug
It's very pretty and is as advertised. It is made in Egypt so that's a plus. It was very tightly rolled up in the packaging so it took a couple of weeks to flatten out and there is a sticker on the back which is almost impossible to remove. I am still very pleased with this purchase.

This rug is UGLY
We bought this rug just to go under our bed since we have hardwood floors but when it came, it looked nothing like the photo. We thought it was grey but it's actually blue grey and brown and yellow. It has more of a Native American feel to it with all the triangular shapes. It is not soft at all, but you get what you pay for. I think next time we will just go for a solid color.

Nice rug, great price!
Great rug for the price paid. The colours aren't vibrant but blend nicely with my floor. It's isn't necessarily plush or anything, but a nice entry way rug. It slides so we put antislip tape on the bottom (or get an antislip runner). It came rolled up very tightly and I had to set heavy items on the ends for a while to make it sit flat. I have had to do it a few times on the one end as it wants to curl a bit. So far so good after the last time I did that. Overall very pleased to have found this rug for the price!
