The instructions are quite clear that you shouldn't leave the handles on when you're cooking, but honestly who's taking them off every time???It's rare that they melt, but it happens. They're about £12 to replace.

Great quality

The media could not be loaded. Tefal is a well known and trusted brand, my family have been using their cookware for as long as I can remember, and this Ingenio set has the same high quality build and practical functionality I've come to expect and appreciate. With the Ingenio, you've got the trademark, and very handy, thermo-signal as well as the trusty non-stick, anti scratch coating to make cooking and cleaning that little bit easier. I was really pleased to see you can use these on induction hobs too!Obviously, the stand-out feature of the Ingenio range is the removable handle that allows all of the pots and pans to be stacked neatly and stored in a compact space - it's brilliant! As someone with a small kitchen, I really appreciate the space saving feature, plus the handles are very easy to attach and remove (see video) and feel very secure once in place. The versatility of the set is also great - being able to use them in the oven or store dishes in the fridge helps reduce all the extra things you need, saving even more space, and reducing the washing up!The 15 piece set comes with pretty much everything you could need to cook a vast range of delicious meals. However, I might have swapped one of the plastic lids for a saucepan lid, given the choice - as to add these to the set, will set you back another £30-£50 pounds. (The universal lid, while excellent, is an anti-spatter lid designed for the frying and sauté pans). The utensils are great quality and a nice addition to the set.This is an expensive set but you get a lot of high quality pieces that are built to last and are really lovely to cook with and easy to clean - so for me they are great value!

I recently purchased the Tefal Ingenio set; after just one use, the stainless steel pans developed noticeable stains. Given the brand and especially the high price, I am appalled and very dissatisfied with this purchase. The fact that these were also a Christmas present makes this even worse.

Meaning I've passed my old saucepans on to my one of our sons, he's happy with that and I'm extremely happy with these!They are exactly as the description describes, I've had no issues with them, they really are perfect!They are made by tefal, a trusted brand that's been around as long as I can remember.... My mum always had the tefal brand when I was a kid.I can highly reccomend this set, it would make a fantastic wedding present!

Such an amazing set. You have everything you need in this set. The pots are very very well made...very sturdy and easy to keep clean. Very qualitative.The set contains:- 2 pans (22/26 cm)- 3 saucepans (16/18/20 cm)- 1 sauté pan (24 cm)- 2 removable Ingenio thermoplastic handles- 3 vacuum lids (16/18/20 cm)- 2 spatulas- 1 spoon- 1 multi-lid (from 20-26 cm)They are dishwasher safe. All of them have a non-stick coating so it's easy to clean. They are very versatile due to the removable handle....you can easily go from hob to oven with no fuss...and you can also put them in the fridge with no issues. It's a space saver also....being able to stack them by removing the handles. I am wholeheartedly recommending this set to anyone....i know that for some this might be more on the pricy side but i truly believe it is worth it...because think of this....instead of buying cheaper pots not as versatile and not as resistant as these one you will i the long run spend way more...but when you buy this is like an investment.....it will last you a really long while....that qualitative they are. They are worth the price i my opinion for the great quality of them.
