This was the best purchase I’ve made for my fur baby. I was able to put his bed in it so he was really comfy and snoozed the whole trip from Orlando to Rochester NY. It was easy to put him into the carrier too. I did try to unzip one side so he could get in and out easily, he’s not a large dog though so it was easier for me to just pick him up and put him in. The installation was easy until I got to the part of attaching the harness. My husband did that part. I couldn’t figure out what the picture was showing and what the installation instruction was telling me to do. That part just confused me. Other than that it does fit in my car. If you are planning on a long trip I would highly recommend this product.

I have a special needs dog who could really hurt herself if she slips and slides in the backseat of the car. In the past we have used a bucket/booster seat but at almost 50 pounds it can be hard to find one big enough and I know she does not feel very secure in the seat. She loved this right away. She can move but yet feels secure. We did add a cushion so she can feel comfortable lying down. Would definitely recommend! Also, could not be easier to assemble and install and can be removed quickly if needed.

This is a very well made dog car seat item. There is a lot I like about and a few things I’d change.It is well constructed and made out of good quality materials that will keep your dog secure. The set up instructions, which you can view here in the product detail section, are very clear and easy to follow. They include text and also photos.It’s easy to instal in a car. You need a front and back headrest so no install in the middle seat. It’s apparently washable but I haven’t tried that yet. I imagine you’d remove the “spines” first. When not in use it folds flat.Minor issue, but What I would like to see done differently is I’d like there to be some way to just wash the base. It’s cumbersome to put the whole thing in the wash every time. A removable insert would be welcome. I also don’t live the method of securing the dog inside this seat. I think if you have a jumper, the strap won’t keep the dog secure.I also have one of those back seat hammock things and I find this is a great thing to use in addition to that, especially if you have more than one dog. The dogs can be separated a bit if needed, I am going to use this a lot to protect my car and keep dogs safe.

It was easy to install and is sturdy my 4 month old giant Rottweiler puppy fit fine inside,had room for her to move around comfortably. Car trips are fun and stylish and keeps her in her place and safe.

Installs wonderfully and has saved cleaning my vehicle twice now as going to the Veterinarian has made her sick. Contained both the throw up and urine accident from getting onto car surface. I did have a blanket within to help absorb and keep off of pet. Also so very easy to clean!

Very comfortable with added cushion. She has plenty of room to move around and lay down. Super easy to install.

I'm hitting the road for a few days, and needed something to secure my dog while driving. I looked at a few harness style options, but was concerned about the comfort of my senior aged dog. Most looked like they would either not give him enough space or would not keep him confined to a single seat.I stumbled upon this box style holder and thought it would be perfect for my dog to travel and sleep in while we drove. The seat is quite large and does need to be installed in a back seat since it hooks to both the front and back headrests for stability. Installation took just a few seconds even though some of the install guide pictures were a little tough to understand. It's fairly straight forward though with just two simple straps that snap together.The material is sturdy but soft—ideal for providing my old boy the support he needs to feel stable while also helping him feel comfortable on long rides. There's a perfect amount of space for a medium-sized dog bed which was exactly what I needed. We took the seat out for a test ride the other day and everything worked great! The mesh on the sides allows him to see outside even while laying down. Definitely recommend getting one for your furry traveler.
