Buyers Products SW710 50 Amp Rotary Switch, Silver,Black

I bought this as a backup switch. I recently needed to replace the switch on my trailer and installed this unit that I purchased last year. It worked for only a week and now will only work in one direction - can't even turn it the other direction.

Using it to power a crab pot puller with 2.5HP Ramsey winch motor and speed reducer. Only 1/2 amp draw as it is using solenoids, but works great. Momentary on both ways.A little smaller than I expected, not sure if I would want to draw 50 amps continuous through it. Works great for my application.I used 10 Guage marine wire and connectors.Not enough room to run 4 #4 cables and connectors to this switch.

The switch worked less than one day, wasted my time and energy installing. Looked to be a fair made switch but it is a pressed together switch that has internal spring pressure that doesn't allow it to work correctly. Save your money and move on to a different product. This is Junk.

this is a pretty good switch and does a very good job for half the price of the truck parts store. i will buy this again when i need another one.

I modified the lever and made it longer to more fit my hand and mounted it on my electric home-made yard cart I use to pick up debree from my large yard.

Perfect. Works great.

Worked once. Now it will only move in one direction. Waste of money. Do not recommend.
